Oh My I blinked ADDED PICTURE OF CUE BALL

Postby asirimarco » Tue Jul 29, 2008 6:54 pm

Went to get my hair cut a couple of days ago...... Told the lady I wanted a fade - short in back and sides and longer on top. Well I wasn't paying attention - my hair is less than 1/4 inch all over my head. Look like a cue ball. It's shorter than my husbands. At least he was nice enough not to laugh when he saw me. So now I have to wear earrings when we go out so people know I'm a girl. Thank goodness it grows back = who knoImagews I might start liking it when it gets really warm and humid here.

The difference between a bad haircut and a good haircut is about 2 weeks

Amen on the 2 weeks! You can just stay indoors and play on the forum here for that long, Ann!! Sweet that your husband didn't say anything. You have trained him well. :D

Well, you could take a pic and post it and maybe we'll laugh for you :)

I haven't found a hair style with my hair that works down here on the coast. I'm thinking maybe what you got would be good for me - but hate to cut more off after I had it permed a couple weeks ago - even if the somewhat curly perm now has a wave here and there only. Ah, the fun and foibles of haircuts - good and bad - mainly on my head bad :)

Not real sure these days if the earrings would be an indicator of sex. The hotter it gets in the summer, the shorter my hair gets.

Hmmmm .... sounds like a great excuse to go earring shopping (I'm incorrigible!). I find really short hair and outrageous earring is a great combination. If all ya got to show off is earlobes ... you go girl!!!

I get my hair cut really short quite often ... try some mousse and "mess it up" a bit. You'll look great and might love the freedom of not having to "do stuff" to it all the time.

I don't mind it short if it is a good cut-------- but I hate a bad-- uneven cut!!!!!!!!!
I hate to look like the rats chewed it off!!!!!!!!!
The next time mine is cut it will be even shorter-------- but it better be even so I can spike it or do something with it!!!!!!
I hate a bad hair cut---------it can be shorter than I wanted or longer than I wanted it left-but it better be even!!!!!!!!!!
And I don't want any hair touching my ears!!!!!!!! :D

I just bought some new earrings on Sunday, went to Claire's so I can get the Nickel free hoops. Buy two get one free so got some for my Mom who was with me. :D

Mom wants to get her hair done soon and frost it some how. I want just a trim but I think I'll wait till I get back to Yuma...I just trim my bangs only right now. This is the longest I have had my hair in 15 yrs!! I look good in a ponytail!

Yeah glad hair grows out Ann...OOPS!

I learned not to chat with the gals who cut my hair because one let go of my hair talking and the next day to my horror I found a whole section that was not cut!! Had to go back the next day and make someone else correct it!! :o  :o

When you full time on the road, you are never sure what your hair will look like after a cut. :D  I'm learning to live with it and my DH just smiles and says I look great. HA.

Jenny, I like your hair long. Very flattering. carold

One thing I can say - my cut is even - very short all over - not even enough to mousse it yet. Its growing on me though, sure easy care. In the future I can do this myself!

You look GREAT. And that's a cut that I wanted - and where I went wouldn't do! Talk about easy care - even the humidity and salt in the air couldn't do damage to my hair! I might just have to print off your picture to show what I want :)

Ann, that is too short!!! What was that girl thinking!!! I think I would have screamed and I'd be wearing a scarf on my head till it grew out! Sorry but I like your hair longer!

As a rule...I do not let anyone touch my hair that is younger than me that way I know I'll get a good haircut! Gotta be 55 and older!

Well, I think it looks good on you but I also agree that it is too short. However, if it is how you like to wear your hair, then go for it. (I know my mother would have loved the short hairstyles of today because she hated her hair when it started to get any length to it.) It does look good on you, but looks like a man's hair cut.

My kind of haircut for sure. As someone said, if you think it's too short, wait a week or two and it'll be perfect. The earrings make the do!
