Sandi, they are all beautiful! Yes, you should take money for them. Always hoped my granddaughter would add more of her work to her online shop.

I think the Amish always include an imperfection in their quilting.

Sandi I LOVE your paintings. I think pretty much everyone here does. I see no problem taking $$$ for something as it will help fund the "more supplies" envelope. Then you can make many more.

I did a couple more today. The horse was just practice as I’ve never done animals and it was a different technique. I think it may be either Chinese or Japanese style.

Last night my daughter asked if I’ve ever done hydrangeas because that’s her favorite flower. So I had to try today.

This thread is getting pretty long so I think I’ll stop posting every painting.

What are dragonflies a sign of

Dragonflies can be a symbol of self that comes with maturity. They can symbolize going past self-created illusions that limit our growth and ability to change. The dragonfly has been a symbol of happiness, new beginnings and change for many centuries. The dragonfly means hope, change and love. :P

Don't forget to sign it, Sandi! It's awesome. As is the meaning. I've always liked dragonflies, too. That's a great representation.

You really need to sign and date each painting! Learned that from a friend years ago. She said she was taught that and pointed to several pieces hanging in her house that were unsigned , saying, we are pretty sure one of my Aunts did this, but because they didn't sign or date, we don't know for sure. My friend showed me her porcelain painting and said she signed and dated every piece, whether it was her favorite or not. When I make cards, I even have my name stamp for back of those.
