Sandi, I have a strong interest in all things Chinese/Japanese artwork and writing, as well. I have gotten books on how to do brush painting and writing for my gourd art but haven't tried it yet. My next gourd is actually going to have Chinese writing symbols on it. I am cheating and using stencils for it tho.

Your paintings are spectacular!! (I would buy those!) And to be self-taught says a lot about your natural talent! Now I am more motivated to try it now. What paints do you use? Amazon might have the brushes you are looking for too.

Keep posting your work. It is inspiring!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Wow! Beautiful work....I'm embarrassed to say I've been working on the same paint by number for two years.

No regrets. Keep them coming. Can you tell me their approximate sizes? I might want to purchase a couple/few if you're willing to sell and they'd fit spaces I could put them. I'm particularly interested in the 2nd of the first group and wouldn't mind any of the others. They really are wonderful.
