Rainy Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Rainy Sunday

Good morning all. Not much going to happen here today. At least not outside! Rained last night into this morning so it is super wet out there. The maples are starting to drop their yellow stuff for lack of a better word. Got the propane detector replaced yesterday so shouldn’t have to hear that going beep all the time! I replaced it in 16 so it was due to be replaced. I’m enjoying hearing about all the travels from some of you. Wishing good weather for you all. Wondering how Martha and other southern gals are doing today after the storms yesterday.
Not much else happening here but I need to get a couple of things done inside so guess I should get moving. Hope you all have a good day and safe travels.

Good afternoon O'Sharon and everyone!

Sharon, we've had rain here, too, but not as much as Ocala did. We've also had some storms but they weren't severe. I understand tornados touched down in the panhandle of FL. They just don't get a break.

Church was this morning followed by the annual financial meeting and potluck. We are in the planning stage of having a Blessing for our casita that everyone from church is invited to, which will be held May 2, immediately following Mass. Five years ago yesterday, we had a Blessing for our motorhome.

Have a good day & stay safe.

My activity today was driving to Krogers and letting the nice young man fill the back of my Honda Fit with 12 packs of bottled waters for me to deliver to Roberts Arena for the English National. They sarted some of the Agility today and tomorrow. Audrey runs her performance events Tuesday and Jane is entered in a Regional Specialty Tuesday. Tomorrow. I will drive back up (only twenty minutes away) and set up my grooming equipment come come bath a Jane girl and rest up for Tuesday. Cindy can take Jane in for me Tuesday if there is a conflict or I am too tired. I am the only handler that Audrey knows as far as her performance events but I don't have to move very fast or very far for those. Cindy is coming in tomorrow night to stay through Friday but I don't have to dust for her. I just provide clean linens, a bathroom and a kitchen that the health department won't close down. She is bringing her three 6 week old puppies to show to the stud dog's owner (among other folks) so I rearranged my office to make room for a puppy x-pen and a pan of pellets. (Puppy dog litter) I know that I won't be able to be as active or as social as I would like to be these next few days but it will be what it will be. At least Cindy will see that Jane gets to her rings when she needs to. She has lost most of her belly hair after her first heat a couple of months ago but somehow because of her coloring and her movement she still doesn't look too silly and foolish out there. She doesn't look like she can take a win at a specialty but she looks like a girl with strong possibilities when her "skirt" grows back.....and a good reflection on her breeder.

Good afternoon everyone. The owners stopped in to talk when I was finishing up my work. An hour later they were still talking. Lol. I was on the clock, so not going to complain.

Unless something happens and they get done walk-ins, I'm switching days off and taking tomorrow off. I intend to run some errands and be a bum. Maybe Ty and I will take a drive into Bryce Canyon. We'll see what time I get up and going lol

Tina, enjoy your time with the dogs in the dog ring. I'm glad Cindy will be there for back up.

Ah, after posting the previous message earlier and telling myself I can sleep in tomorrow, I got a text from the owners that we're having a meeting at 8 am tomorrow. I didn't really want to sleep in (said tongue in cheek). I hope it's a short meeting!

don't you just love those early morning meetings? so much for sleeping in
today was Sunday stayed in Cedar City so watched church on zoom and other than that just did stuff on internet
took a nap crocheted caught up on what I didn't do last night and today's my hands will hate me tomorrow forgot to take my Aleve yesterday before leaving sure knew it when I got her speaking of which ought to go take it as I haven't yet... so used to only keeping one light on while boondocking that forget that I am plugged in I can have more light ... think I ought to take Shadow out that is done but no results last time I took him out we were inside 10 minutes before he peed on a pad at least it was on a pad
need to take care of the stuff that I've drug out so there will be less to do later...
