Good evening gals!

Was another busy day today and I had the "pleasure" of working with the male stylist I don't like. He did a haircut on a guy who didn't have a mask on. I finally went over and asked the guy to put on his mask because another customer walked in the door. Then Mr SmoothTalker stole one of my clients who requested me and he convinced her he could do an "amazing job" on her hair. He apparently didn't want to do the first customer on the list so he took her instead. He tends to do that. Then at 4:50, 10 minutes before closing, two customers came in and he told them both we were too busy to take them and asked them to leave. Our policy is if anyone comes in before 5:00, we have to take them. I did all the closing with the register (which he refuses to learn) and he did absolutely no cleaning, so the place is a mess. If I hear about that later, I will also tell the manager everything else that happened today. He is right on the edge of getting fired anyways.

I have been using my lightweight broom this week and my shoulder feels good so far. Happy about that! :D

I have tomorrow off and have my first vaccine appointment in the morning. They opened it up to 50+ today and will open the floodgates to everyone else on April 15th. I guess it was pretty crazy today with people trying to get appointments now. I am glad I had enough foresight to get my appointment scheduled last week!

I feel much better today so that must have been something I ate the other day that didn't agree with my system. I also take a Vitamin D supplement. It really boosts your immune system. One of my blood panels for my hormones indicated my D levels were really low and the D/K/A vitamin supplement was recommended for me. (10000 IU)

Saw some rain coming down in parts of the valley but nothing where I am. Literally, two drops hit my windshield on the way home from work. Will be hitting 100* Saturday and Sunday here. Too early!!

I bought a small piece of ham that is smoked and sliced that I will bake in the oven on Sunday. I assume I can freeze what I don't eat. Will also make some scalloped potatoes and a veggie to go with it. Simple meal. Should call my brother on Sunday too and see how their move to Tucson went.

My neighbor seems to think the orange kitty is pregnant. She came up on my deck tonight to eat and she does seem a little chunky. As I was watching and taking video of her, the mean mangy white kitty showed up. I thought for sure there would be a fight but he came up the steps and was all affectionately rubbing himself all over the steps and furniture I have on the deck. At first the orange kitty ignored him but eventually looked at him and walked away. The white kitty followed. (I got it all on video.) At first I thought maybe white kitty could be dad, but he has a clipped ear which indicates he has been neutered. I guess he has feelings for her anyways. I wish I new where the orange one hangs out so if she does have kittens, I can try to socialize with them and then get homes for them.

I guess I will be doing inside things tomorrow with it being so hot outside. Lots to do inside anyways.

I said "rabbits" at 11pm before going to bed. I got up around 3am to go potty but not sure if I talked to Lola or not. Said "rabbits" when I woke up again at 6:30 just in case.

>Sheila, sorry to hear about Linda's mom. She is over 100 years old and still living in her home. I hope Linda can get back to see her right away.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Martha, I did some searching online amd every single case where Salmonella From meat was involved, it was ground beef ( or eggs, cheese, milk, or other mixed meats, sometimes it's even contaminated seasonings used).. The reason is, the outside of the carcas gets contaminated, then that is ground and mixed , putting contamination inside the ground meat. With whole meat, such as steak or roast, the salmonella if present (and it's fairly rare) remains on the outside and gets sterilized during even brief searing at high heat. Raw Bones that are whole should be safe, if processed for human use.

I think I would have a chat with the manager about the 'guy' he sounds as though he wants to be fired.

Do you think your stomach issues might be caused by the high dose of Vitamin D? I've been reading about it since I'm supposed to take 50,000 MG that the doctor prescribed. I'm allergic to so many things I think I am going to ask if a shot is available and would maybe be better.

Here is why I thnk a Vit D shot is a bad idea, ESP for you. Yes they are available. The stuff is in your system SIX months! A pill you take daily is used in a day or so, thus you need to take another as your levels build. If it turns out you are sensitive to any ingredient in the shot, you are stuck with it six months until its gone, where with a pill, it's gone in a few days. With your history, I'd be very hesitant to go with the long acting shot. With pills, you can choose from hundreds of brands each with their own unique formula of ingredients (coatings, fillers, carrier oils) and find one compatible with your body chemistry. For example, some are soy based, but if you are soy sensitive, choose one based on olive oil. Amazon shows complete label with ingredients for most products, so with careful reading you can find one to try. You don't have to go with an RX which enriches pharmaceutical company and often which, when you pick it up, may or may not show ingredients on label. 50,000 is not unusual as RX level, but usually for a very limited time, then recheck numbers and adjust dose.
Also, get as much of your skin exposed to sun each day for 20-30 min as that is the very best source of Vit D production in your body. Vit D is very important to your immune system. I normally take 2000 IU a day but double that during times of stress or exposure such as trips to Dr or other places it's hard to distance- and I don't mean just current virus, I have done that for a few years esp during flu season. My formerly catastrophically low D levels came up within range fairly soon with taking D and have stayed that way year after year . I've probably taken D for twenty five years now, since discovering the small amount in my Calcium/Magniesium/D pills were no where near enough D or MG, which I also supplement.
