Had a fun visit with BFF Laura. She spent the night here on her way back from Medford. She called it a "bed and breakfast stop" ha ha works for me. She went home this morning and I went and had Covid Shot #2. Lots of people in line for pharmacy but you go to the other end of the counter for Vaccines. I was the only one there. Put you in a little tucked away waiting area around the corner, then they give you the injection in a small room off the waiting area for privacy (not another soul there but whatever). This part is the humorous part to me. Tell me I can stay here and wait or I can go they dont care. I said well I might as well go cause if I had a problem chances are slim to none no one would find me anyway for a while LOL she just laughed.

Came home, had lunch, turned on the tv and promptly dozed off ha ha not for very long but dang was a bit early in the day to be nodding off. I am not anticipating anything untoward from the vaccine as I have stuff to do this weekend in my yard, BUT I am prepared for whatever. Glad to hear you are doing well Beth. I am hoping for the same. Seems like it is a 50/50 deal. Some no symptoms, others get their butt kicked.

Barbie, I don't know what Facebook called it when they freeze your account but I have just heard people refer to it as Facebook Jail. I'm not sure what it takes for them to freeze your account and for how long. I must know some hot heads because I know at least 5 people that have been in Facebook Jail. Considering some of the things my son posts it must take something really bad to get in jail. I just hope my friends can't see my son's posts.

BJ, I would not have been happy about that vet visit either. They can test for worms. And to not look in her mouth for a dog with eating problems.

Karen, that was funny about leaving you in a room alone. I ask if they wanted me to wait a while and was told I could if I wanted to but I could leave. My arm still has a bruise from the shot but it never did get sore for the second shot.

I went fishing this afternoon. The fish weren't bitting very well but I caught 2 Choupique fish. They are kind of eel looking and I think of them as trash fish. My neighbor ask me to bring him some if I caught any so brought them to him.

BJ, that's scary. I still say a vet caused Peaches death. He meant well to begin with but didn't listen to me when I said his treatment wasn't working and I'd been managing her kidneys for over 6 years. And his treatment made her worse immediately. He actually told me what he was doing would help and if I didn't agree, not to come back. I didn't come back, but felt having stopped his meds entirely, she'd start improving. She did some, but little did I know they'd caused heart failure. I went to an emergency vet who told me that the treatment the other vet prescribed had a good success rate BUT one of the rare side effects was what happened to Peaches. I blame myself for not getting her into the second vet sooner. But he did help and she had about 4 more months. (He actually want sure she'd make it through that weekend! But she wasn't ready to go yet ) She could no longer take the kidney meds as they now became fatal for her. We did what we could and kept her happy as long as possible. When I returned to SD I took Peaches to her vet there who agreed with everything from the emergency vet and was devastated. When the time came she sat with Peaches and I as we let her pass, crying together. So please, listen to your gut as you are. We can't be perfect, but I'll always feel to blame for her quick downhill.

not sure if I didn't hear the alarm or just didn't set it correctly but I didn't hear it and didn't get up in a timely manner either..
there is a place in town that has Walleye on Thursday's never have had Walleye so thought perhaps I'd try it .... it must be a favored fish has she had people coming in and pre-ordering and paying of their meal and to top it off she only got part of her order as more places in Phoenix had opened so I decided that I would wait till in the fall to try Walleye... and she told me that she had cod on Friday starting at 1 I got there about 1:45 they were out she had started to sell them at 12 instead of 1  calls that unfair  decided that I was going to go to Walmart stop by one way back but then decided I'd go in tomorrow and have a cheese burger with fries makes the best fries fresh cut... maybe next week will have fish it was just sounding good...
I can sure spend the money at Wally World and come home and not have anything for supper lol... got home and feed birds (had to get seed for them) and filled the generator...
chilly tonight need to go turn on the buddy... even the soup (I had gotten a ramen noodle soup in a cup) not doing that flavor again it was a chili lime too hot spice wise ... didn't warm me up but not much wind today it was a doable my sister text me telling me that it was really strong in Vegas...
after looking last night not sure I will leave next week either... I have to look at the weather/winds/moisture...for about 700 miles not quite... but close  want it to all be favorable driving so I don't get caught somewhere in less than desirable conditions... picky I know
for those who like fish is Walleye good???
think the only ones that were in bad weather on the East was Wendy and Sarah... at least I didn't hear of others...
as to FB Jail I think it can be easy to happen like something that those that monitor don't and it can happen...
which reminds me need to check with a friend that said she had been hacked I'd gotten a weird e-mail from her and have no idea how she had my e-mail
you all have a good day see you tomorrow

Sheila, walleye is a favorite in Minnesota! I don't like any kind of fish so can't say from personal experience.

Almost 2:30 am and not the least bit sleepy. I need to stop taking naps. I fell asleep on the couch this afternoon right after I posted on here earlier. Slept for almost 3 hours! :o Luckily, I can sleep in tomorrow again.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
