Sunny Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Thursday

Postby Othersharon » Thu Mar 25, 2021 11:25 am

Just after noon here and it’s a warm and sunny day. I can’t count on it lasting since tonight is supposed to rain and tomorrow we’re going to get the winds that seem to be coming from all of you out west. But I’m going to get out in the yard and try to get some more leaves picked up! Plus at some point Rascal and I need to take a walk. Loving the longer daylight hours! I was awake at about 4:30 this morning when the street sweeper was back and forth in front of my house, And so it went for about an hour! Not sure why so long but a rude awakening! I finally just gave up and got up! I put my snow shovels away the other day so hope I didn’t jinx myself! And some of you are already growing gardens on your balcony or patios! And I’m still hoping for no more snow! Springtime in PA! So not much else happening here, just enjoying the warmer temps and a day here and there of sunshine! Hope you have a good day and stay safe.

Sunny and 50° here, headed to mid 60s today but 80's by next week! Not ready for warm weather. Still hope for more rain. Winds have died down, though they were never heavy winds this week.
Have a list of chores to work on, though not sure how many il will get done. Did get almost 7 hours sleep last night, somewhat a miracle, with my usual lately well under six. I get to sleep most nights but wake up too soon and per my fitbit, I'm not getting an appropriate amount of deep sleep.
Hoping to find a place to shorten my hair a bit. So many places closed forever. The chain Barbara works for does not seem to have a place here.
Stay safe those of you in stormy areas.
Hard to type since Mandy is insisting on being on my chest in my face.

It looks like the weather guessers missed the severe weather for here so far. It is very calm for a change. It has warmed up to 79 so turned the air conditioner on. The cold frond is suppose to come through later and be in the 50's tonight.

After seeing how much a new GPS would cost I spent hours last nigh trying to update the 2 I have. The Garmin kept trying to load the maps for Canada and I couldn't stop it. Grrrrrr The web site for the TomTom only works on my HP computer. First it spent 2 hours updating the website. Then it tells me I don't have enough room on the GPS so spent another hour trying to get it to only load the USA, not the whole world. I need to take it out to the car and see what it will do.

I had a terrible headache yesterday. I get them too often, but am so glad it was yesterday and not today as I got my 2nd dose of the vaccine today and might have blamed that. So happy to have the 2nd dose.

Sorry about the wind traveling east. It's still going to be higher than I like this afternoon and the next few afternoons. But I'm hoping it calms for my driving days coming up soon.

I can't fit all my freezer stuff from the casita in my rv. But I have more than a weeks worth of meals to try to make more room. I have faith I'll get there.

Good afternoon, cloudy all morning but now the sun is trying to come out. Did some emptying and reorganizing some of my storage tubs this morning. Threw some meat in the crockpot and just added some potatoes so will have something to eat for a couple of days. I go for my Shot #2 tomorrow so wanted to make sure I wouldnt have to go out for anything ya know...just in case I will be feeling poorly. I am optimistic tho that it wont happen and I will be just fine. Many of my friends were just fine and they were a mix of Pfizer and Moderna and some had headache, chills, fever or fatigue. So it is a mixed bag.

We are supposed to have a great weekend here 67-68 so I darn well better not feel poorly as I so want to work in my yard a bit. I need to get out and spray my weeds but no sense spraying them when it is raining LOL

I too had a rude awaking this morning phone rang normally don't answer a phone number that I don't know but was expecting a call from the folks coming to pump me out (not knowing when I am leaving for sure decided to get pumped out) it was 8:00 much too early so after he finished I went back to bed not expecting to go back to sleep... I did..
a really windy day today but at least we didn't get the dust that they were predicting... saw on one of the fb groups pages that there was real slow down going to Havasu like stopped due to some one over turning their trailer why would anyone tow on a day like we have had is beyond me... notice I am still here in my spot because of wind :o and during the night we can expect gust up to 30 not sure I am looking forward to that at all
so did my dishes took Shadow out a couple of times took down some items I'd forgotten to do when trying to get ready to go last week...
so once again a very unproductive day... going to Walmart tomorrow need bird seed why when I am leaving soon it is for two purposes I enjoy watching the birds and it will weigh down the tubes because they will be in the back of the truck ...
few other things and some stuff for a friend
so that was my day you would have thought that I would crochet but no wait until 10 or later really makes sense ....
hope all out on the east coast are ok
Anne how are you haven't seen much of you lately
you all have a great day
