Shirl, I had ice cream (with bananas and hot fudge topping) for dessert too! I just forgot to eat lunch before that!
Irmi, Steve sounds like a glutton for punishment! Glad he is willing to try again! That is one sport I am not willing to try.
Cheryl, sorry to hear about your new truck! Hope that didn't do any permanent damage. That is nice of KOA to help move your camper to a different site. When my Jeep was in the shop, the owners of the campground I was at in Bozeman moved mine for me too.
I finally got around to gathering up the trash, cardboard and bottles to take to the dumpsters and recycle bin. The winds picked up again and it is like a hurricane out there! Things are really blowing around all over and I hear things hitting the roof. By the time I got back from the dumpster (I drove my Jeep so wasn't out in the wind for more than a minute or so), my eyes, skin and mouth all felt gritty! Can't even see the mountains behind me due to the blowing sand and dust! I think I will wait until tomorrow to do laundry. Supposed to be calmer tomorrow. I will just do dishes and frost my hair today.
I checked my phone texts this afternoon and found a desperate sounding text from my manager from this morning. Apparently the two male stylists were working together today and got in a big fight. She wanted to know if I would come in to cover for one of them (apparently one must have walked out). I apologized for not getting the message earlier to help out, but in reality, I was thinking I am not a babysitter and do not feel I should cover for two (40 something) "adults" that need to grow up. That isn't in my job description! Those two are scheduled to work together for the next couple days so I imagine I will be asked to work at least one of those days. The guy I got into a disagreement with last month (I waited until after hours to deal with it like a mature adult), is on his way out anyways, but right now is not a good time to lose a stylist since we are already spread thin with the opening of the WM shop.
