Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Shirl, I had ice cream (with bananas and hot fudge topping) for dessert too! I just forgot to eat lunch before that!

Irmi, Steve sounds like a glutton for punishment! Glad he is willing to try again! That is one sport I am not willing to try.

Cheryl, sorry to hear about your new truck! Hope that didn't do any permanent damage. That is nice of KOA to help move your camper to a different site. When my Jeep was in the shop, the owners of the campground I was at in Bozeman moved mine for me too.

I finally got around to gathering up the trash, cardboard and bottles to take to the dumpsters and recycle bin. The winds picked up again and it is like a hurricane out there! Things are really blowing around all over and I hear things hitting the roof. By the time I got back from the dumpster (I drove my Jeep so wasn't out in the wind for more than a minute or so), my eyes, skin and mouth all felt gritty! Can't even see the mountains behind me due to the blowing sand and dust! I think I will wait until tomorrow to do laundry. Supposed to be calmer tomorrow. I will just do dishes and frost my hair today.

I checked my phone texts this afternoon and found a desperate sounding text from my manager from this morning. Apparently the two male stylists were working together today and got in a big fight. She wanted to know if I would come in to cover for one of them (apparently one must have walked out). I apologized for not getting the message earlier to help out, but in reality, I was thinking I am not a babysitter and do not feel I should cover for two (40 something) "adults" that need to grow up. That isn't in my job description! Those two are scheduled to work together for the next couple days so I imagine I will be asked to work at least one of those days. The guy I got into a disagreement with last month (I waited until after hours to deal with it like a mature adult), is on his way out anyways, but right now is not a good time to lose a stylist since we are already spread thin with the opening of the WM shop.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I got a workout today. This morning I put clean sheets on the beds in the motorhome. I have to put them in the floor to get sheets on. Why did they quit putting handles on mattress? After lunch I went to Maurice to mow. The grass and clover was so tall I had to mow twice but got it done. Came home and mowed almost everything here except in front of the barn. The weather people missed it, it hasn't rained yet. All of that has aggravated my shoulder. I seem to be having a lot of aches and pains lately.

Cheryl, you are taking your truck repair better than I would. Harold put gas in his diesel trucks twice but realized it before he drove it so had to have the truck towed and drained.

One of the ladies at my last campout bought an older Class A with a male friend. Her friend seems to be a "know it all". He told her that the RV didn't need to be level to use it. The tires on it were 14 years old and he said they were fine. We all told her to get new tires. She had a blow out near Lafayette on the way home so 6 new tires today. My advice was to not buy an RV with a man. lol

I need to go find something for supper. It's 7:30 (old 6:30) and I don't want to eat too late. It takes a while for me and Sugar to get our meal straight after a time change.

Yikes, Cheryl! A couple summers ago the company our station in Keystone got gas from delivered what was supposed to be diesel into a couple gas stations before it was caught that their supplier put unleaded in their diesel tank. They had lots of claims and would have been out of business if it hadn't been their suppliers fault and all the claims went back to them. That said it's absolutely no fun on the consumer end. Or theirs, who had to have the tank emptied and all that has dumped, the tank cleaned, etc before they could get diesel again.

I think I mentioned yesterday or earlier that I'm owed some money on a mortgage from over 30 years ago. I'm really glad I'm using an attorney because they believe I'll get the money and walked me through the form. Without them I'd have given up when I got this latest paperwork. Tomorrow I'll get my signature notarized and email that form to the attorney (I emailed copies of other necessary things to him today) and they'll take care of submitting it after going over and checking the form for any errors.

I tried to put my new wall/door hanger up using a type of museum putty. We used it a lot at a good motel I managed, but I couldn't find that brand. This one won't stick up. And I can't get a nail into the door without damaging it. I think I'll go to Walmart tomorrow and look at some small command hooks.

Martha, trust me, I had some very colorful language that I said out loud once I got back to the camper that day.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they can get the truck in this week. It all depends on what space they can open up in the shop. They put me first on the list now that they have parts, since they know the situation at the CG and with trying to get back to Illinois. Guess the others are all residents and long term workers here. I hope to get an update tomorrow after the trailer is moved.

Martha, heck I wouldnt even travel with a man in my rig, let alone buy an RV with one. People would often ask how many people my Motorhome slept and I would always tell them ONE.

Anita, I have used wreath hangers on my front door to hang a decoration. My door is metal and nothing sticks to it.

Karen, I had a motorhome that slept 8 if most of them were kids. After a couple of trips with my sister and her kids I decided I didn't know 7 people I wanted to sleep with. We went to a waterpark and one of her kids had every piece of clothing he had wet before I even got set up.

a very windy day today... was going to bin up the dolls but the bins are in the bay and it just simply was to windy to pull stuff out to get to the bins hopefully tomorrow... actually looked at the weather think I will push myself to get to St. George by Monday. I don't think I mentioned last night that I am going to have another great grandbaby... come late Sept... my grandson's wife is having their second baby... thrilled for them
I like looking at recipes and even sometimes try them... saw a recipe a few weeks ago in Women's World that is suppose to help with something right now have no idea but thought I wanted to try it a simple recipe just cook like amounts of sweet potato and carrots with some fresh ginger cook smash and enjoy... was really good next time will try to smash them better  and I wonder how a piece of cinnamon would do drag it out before you smash them up ...
didn't hear from the repair fellow dang how hard is it to respond???
it's feeling chilly think the buddy needs to be started... that I am not looking forward to going back up North it's cold grandson was saying it was like 40 something yikes!!! not what I am looking forward to at all... and my mom keeps her house so cold :o I hate it when I think of something to mention and when I get here it's gone out the window... when I get my new phone going to put this site on it so I can do it when I think of something
for some reason while outside today I got to thinking of CarolB and a few other's wonder where and how they are...
I thought of something I was going to mention lol like doing word searches one page the other day was after you found the towns listed that the left over letters would tell you the state, states nickname, state flower and state bird... hmm was about 90% sure when I saw the names of some of the city's Benson, Sun City, Buckeye.... and as I was looking for obvious names of cities saw the word wren... that really cinched it... yep it was Arizona!!!
you all take care

Thanks, I'm going to look at some. Since I'm leaving here in a couple weeks, that might be what I get on my next visit.

Karen, I allow friends to visit. But there's a time limit. Lol

Monday is over but since I have not gotten in bed yet, I'll call it Monday news!
I visited dentist for X-rays, cleaning, polishing a chip anf check by dentist. I got a clean oral health report.
Headed home and changed to workout clothes. For the first time in a year, 5 of us were allowed to workout together! Fun seeing friends again.
Later, son, Chris, and I headed to store after writing a supper menu for the week ahead. Trying to teach him meal planning. Got a nice nearly 3 lb corn beef round for Wednesday. Plan to air fry it with a glaze using a recipe I found.
Watched a few more episodes of series we are watching called Guatdian.
Has a cloudy chilly day with only a few drops of rain and it's headed into low 30's tonight!
Sure wish we would get more rain.
