We had basically rain here all day, however we are having a "snow event" not that I have any but the Interstate and many other access highways are closed either for snow or for accidents. I live at milepost 127 Highway is closed from MP66-81 which is south of me but there are the 4 passes that I have to go over every dang time I go to Medford. I-5 over the Siskiyous is closed from Ashland to Redding. I believe I now live in the Banana belt ha ha.

Shirl, I do not usually make my Mochas from scratch. Sometimes I make coffee and add flavored creamer. Like Peppermint, Caramel or Chocolate, or Creme Brulee. Other times I just add my sugarfree Torani syrup to coffee,(Hazelnut, Raspberry, Chocolate, Caramel) then add some heavy whipping creme, use my milk frother to whip it up a bit....stick it in the micro (cause I like mine hot) for a few seconds. Add a squirt of whipping cream to the top and bam....I have a Mocha When I get ambitious I drizzle a little sugar free caramel sauce on top, or some chocolate sauce.

BUT, when I feel really lazy I stick this in my k-cup machine............instant Caramel cappuccino

Thanks Karen, I did find a scratch recipe which doesn’t sound too difficult. Ingredients are things I have on hand. Will try it tomorrow. Sounds like a nice afternoon treat.

Wind began to pick up around 5 pm. Rain not until about 8. Gusts here to 28 but elsewhere in valley, Sac airport had gusts to 62. Rain steady at 01:40. Yes I'm up listening for trouble outside. So far from what I see with flashlight, no trees or big branches down and our power stays on with our underground utilities.
Stay safe all.
