Morning All, having coffee and waiting for the email from Walmart that the Oder is ready. Will race the weather to pickup. Just a coating of snow predicted, not a problem but don’t like icy roads. Be safe

Good morning gals!

It has been raining off and on all night and now we have a sun shower! Blue sky out one window and dark sky out the other window and rain still falling. Hopefully will get a little break now for a bit.

I need to get up soon and head to WM. Need to make some phone calls and get some stuff done around here finally. I still have some tummy issues this morning but feel more motivated to get up and do something.

Have a good day! Stay warm, safe, and dry!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

No rain here yesterday or the day before (as had been predicted). It was quite overcast when I got up this morning; the overcast has now cleared and the sun is brightly shining, no clouds to be seen.

Hard freeze warning for tonight (predicted to go down to 28 degrees, so will need to wrap my outside water faucets sometime today).

"Heavy rain and windy" predicted for tomorrow (Tuesday), with "showers" or "chance of rain" through the rest of the week.

One can hope, but we shall see.

I got my propane this morning. Now I don't have to worry about running out during this cold spell. Sewer, cable are reconnected. I won't do the water until the deep cold passes and temps are closer to normal. I did purchase wrap for my hose and will put it on. I also called and cancelled my big propane tank to the casita. If I'm ever staying here more I'll get the water heater replaced and get the tank back. And I'll probably get an extend a stay for the rv and get a portable tank for it. Not this year.

It's rained here off and on. Luckily it was off while I went out this morning. But it's coming back and possible snow tomorrow before things start going back towards normal.

I had to go to the bank with my son and then we went to Walmart. It was raining off and on but it never did rain on me. It's still in the 70's and got very windy before I made it home. I picked up a shrimp salad at one of the restaurants. It's nice to eat something I didn't cook. Cheez-it has been advertising thin and crispy cheese chips and I finally found some at Walmart. They are cheesy alright.

I think I'll go walk Sugar before it decides to rain again. I kept putting it off yesterday and it was almost dark before we walked.

I had to dump my tanks today and make a post office run to drop off some letters, and I am REALLY glad I did it when I did. It was drizzly then, but now it is a heavy downpour with strong winds. I have only been parked and inside for half an hour. Satellite TV has been going out and in, but out for now. Whew! There is a wind and hail advisory up until 11 pm tonight. But at least, I am inside with empty waste tanks and a full fresh water tank. Got lots of propane and it is warm in here with just my one little electric heater.

So, this is Usery Mountain SP, just north of Mesa, AZ, and it is 45 degrees outside and expected to stay the same temp with rain most of the night.

I have an older small electric heater, but it has built up a lot of dust in it so has been making a noise when it starts. I took one of those compressed air cans you use for laptops and blew a lot of the dust out. Put it in the shower while I did it because it is too cold outside. Anyway, I usually put it next to my stove, but when I turned it on, it was close to my propane detector and set it off. Let it dry and it was OK.

But now, believe it or not, it is snowing--heavily--in the desert! Great big flakes and lots of them, but wind has died down, at least. Glad I am inside and warm--not a good day for a hike or anything outdoors.

Well, a big storm just hit here. Really high winds and dark skies and now starting to rain! It sounds like a hurricane out there with the winds!

Eariler, I was still not feeling good after having some toast for my tummy so I layed back down for a nap. Slept til 2. Then decided to make a run to WM for some water and food. Still felt a little off with my tummy so I made some chicken noodle soup. That is when the storm hit. So now I hunker down and wait it out. Hopefully, with all this huffing and puffing out there, we will get some decent rain instead of just a sprinkle.

Just got an email that our stay at home order has been lifted! That is a surprise! So I guess I will be back to work soon (Saturday). I am actually not looking forward to that. Guess I have been so lazy for so long that I don't even feel like working. I hope I can get my cough under control. Can't be working with that. (And yes, Carol, Ricola is on my list for WM).

Well, so far I count 5 drops of rain on the window... Stilll extremely windy out.

I did manage earlier to put away all the stuff that was under the sink, into another cupboard. Just not up to doing the dishes tho. I've got the next 4 days to get stuff done before going back to work. Hopefully, whatever is going on with my tummy will settle down soon. Am not actually getting sick, just a yucky feeling/indigestion.

Didn't even get my phone calls made that I needed to do, including the plumber.

Good afternoon, we have had rain off and on all day with just a light breeze but dang it is cold outside. I went out with my neighbor this morning and he found a few things at one of the thrift shops we went to. I bought a picture for the living room and a couple of decorative vases. Think I have enough now but really like going and looking. A couple of the stores were pretty cool and the other two were pretty crappy LOL but still fun to look. Came home and Emma's steps were delivered, they are skinnier than the last ones I had and she was a little leery the first couple of times I had her go up them but she will be dialed in pretty soon. I then went back out to the grocery store as I needed some salad fixings and they had hamburger on for 2.57 a pound so I bought 2 family packs to break down and freeze with my food saver. Salmon was also on sale so bought 4 6oz fillets. So lost my debit card somewhere along the way, darn it. I looked all over my car, my purse, etc. Must have fallen out of my phone case somewhere. So called and they are going to send me another. What a pain. I wanted to call right away tho before any charges racked up. The guy said the last charge was at the grocery store and I told him that was mine and then nothing else so caught it in time.

Have no idea when the vaccine will be available here. I know I am not hanging out in line for hours to get it. I will let others go first and wait until the rush is over. Housecleaning tomorrow and some laundry. My blinds are in at Home Depot so will go pick those up tomorrow. I dont feel like it today since I am sitting in my recliner with my heated throw sipping a hot cup of coffee.

I finally trekked out to WM. Started raining again as soon as I left. I was surprised to see how low the snow line was on the mountains! Even quite a bit on the smaller mountains behind me in Joshua Tree Nat'l Park. It will be snowing all night in the mountains so will be very pretty once it clears up. It was only 50* here when I left home. Will be in the 30's overnight.

it's cold here as well... was very windy really windy.... rainy and cloudy with blue skies at times...
suppose to be really cold Wednesday like freezing cold...sure not looking forward to that at all...
but the desert has been without rainfall for a long time so we won't complain about the rain for a few days :?
it's the cold that I am complaining about after all it can rain and be warm right???
today I got my dishes done and the books that until I put out Christmas decorations was on this stand of mine for Christmas I had just put them up against the back of the 5th wheel like behind the tree... when I saw how badly the stand was getting decided that I needed to put the books elsewhere ... so put them on the desk today might need to read some of them and find a new home for them I think the problem with some of them I bought them then realize that they were part of a sequel and not found the rest of the books if so they may get boxed up and put in storage and hopefully find the rest of the books later... one is a book I bought this fall and just forgot to read it...
so not much done but some and if you knew how long I lingered in bed  just too cold and windy and rainy to want to get up... so didn't...
one day soon I need to drag out the vacuum and vacuum the floor and put the stand where it goes... and things back pre-Christmas... not in a hurry at all right...
I even turned the jenny on early tonight as it was cloudy enough felt like it would take a bit longer to charge it all up
think I will take myself to ancestry see what I can find
Martha are those called Snaps? have gotten them a few times I really liked them. funny my husband really like cheese nibs I think they were called me not so much I think these are cheese nibs flatten out :?
