Happy New Year 2021

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Didn't get a lot done today but I did go back to the storage lot and actually found one of the keys I took with, that fit the lock! Everything inside was covered in about 1/2 inch of dirt/dust/sand! Luckily, most things are in closed bins. Other open boxes and bins I covered in blankets so that helped some too. I also found my humidifier! And a few other small things I brought back with me that I can use.

Tomorrow's another day...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Happy New Year! Woohoo! We made it thru 2020!

I"m with you, Sandi. I forgot to say rabbits too. :(
Judy, thanks for the foot report. Sounds like you're on the right track now for healing. ;)
Congrats to Carol & Bill on your anniversary. Sending you wishes for many more.

I spent the day in San Diego helping my DD pack up things & bringing what she wants to keep up here. We took a nice walk along the beach (with our masks on) but there were too many people for our comfort so we avoided them as much as possible & walked back to her apartment. Decided the bed will be easy to get up here so now I have to sell the one I have in the guest room. Hopefully I can get rid of it by next Sat when my son & I will go down to get hers. Now I just need to find places to store what I brought back today.

Stay warm & safe out there.
Take care,
Catherine

HAPPY NEW YEAR
before I forget Happy Anniversary Carol and Bill...
and thank you Karen for reminding me that it is Heartguard day had totally spaced it...
and Yes we did make it to another year... hopefully it will be what we are anticipating
we played games today but decided that due to increase in COVID cases that we would not have games for a couple of
weeks. and we will wear masks when we return to playing and probably not do food on Fridays at least not for awhile boy there goes my Birthday dinner.. since I pretty much plan it I was going to come up with something neat and cake and dip ... perhaps I will follow my advice to my granddaughter half the recipe... it's a big cake for two people it would be a big cake for sure for one so something to think about... usually there is Barbi and Kerry here for the gtg and we celebrate all of our birthdays as they are close to the same time ... oh well I need to quit whining my granddaughter turns 7 tomorrow and no party for her poor kid they usually do something neat for her cause for 6 years she was the only one...
oh the cheese ball tasted really good might go to recipes and post the recipe other than it makes a ton but don't know why it couldn't be halved...
you all have a good day enjoy what this year brings hopefully much good...
one of the gals today said her stimulus check had come today so checked and mine has was there :D
hope all of yours comes in a timely manner
Tina so good to see your smiling face continue to feel better

Judy glad to hear your foot is getting better. I used to do wound care that is why I suggested to let it dry a bit each night while you are sitting down. You do need to protect it like you did today. Good job.

YAY Barbie found her keys. Now you need to put them with your golf cart keys LOL LOL I need to get a few more keys made for my house as I only had 4 and gave my neighbor one in case I need him to be here for any delivies ie" mattresses LOL I have to be in Medford on the 14th and 15th for my eye appt and the mattresses are supposed to come on the 15th. But they come from the warehouse in the Portland/Vancouver area so my appt is at 8am I am usually out of there by 9 or so. Then another 1 1/2 hours to drive up home I think I can beat em here. Then I gave one to Laura. I have one on my car key FOB and one on the other car fob. So need to get another couple so I can hide one outside also. I am sure you all will be glad when I actually get a bed. This is starting to be old news. On a lighter note I have one bathroom all spiffed. A couple of pics as requested. My next project is to paint the bathroom. Then it will be finished

New sink and faucet. Kind of cut off the whole pic when I resized it but you get the drift

Nice bathroom!!! And the bed will end up being the one item you remember getting! Someday.

And had I known, I would have called you about the wound care. I relied on the United Healthcare online nurse because I DO NOT want to go into an urgent care of emergency room until we all get our vaccines!

Judy, I've always been told that whenever possible let wounds spend time unwrapped and without lotions overnight. But, like you, I probably would have done differently if told differently by someone I'd expect to know.

Thanks for the pictures Karen. Nice job.

I spent most of today streaming episodes of House. Breaks to walk Ty and eat, of course. It'll be good when I get to my casita where I have projects. Let's hope I do them lol. Monday I leave for Casa Grande. I have an audiologist appt one day and an appt to take my rig in for an oil change another... So I won't be able to be quite so lazy while there.
