Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Not much happened today. Finished my reindeer and hung him up out front. I decided to make another one for my friends Debbie and Dave but didn't have any more palm fronds. I guess I threw out all the ones I had saved except for that one. It got a little windy this afternoon so I thought maybe I could find some that had blown down. I drove my cart all over the whole park and finally found one laying in the street. That was the only one! So I glued on eyes, nose and red bow and quietly dropped it off on their porch. I texted them when I got home to go check outside to see what Santa left there. They loved it! I wish I could find more palm fronds so I could make more since I have more supplies, but will check again tomorrow. The wind is supposed to pick up tonight and tomorrow.

My doctor called me the other day to say that the x-rays of my shoulders didn't show anything unusual and doesn't think it is arthritis, just some sore muscles. I don't agree. I have had this problem for several years and is progressively getting worse. However, she did agree to send me for PT which should help, regardless. Hopefully, they will do more than just hand me some photocopies of exercises to do at home and send me out the door (after a $20 copay!), like the last place did.

Tomorrow, I will go pick up the spaghetti dinner at a local Italian restaurant nearby. Will probably wait until Christmas Day to eat it. Can't wait to dig into the chocolate satin pie! :D Then I need to get serious about changing my eating habits.

OMG! Lola just fell off the back of the couch into the window blinds! :o She was sleeping and must have rolled on her side and off she went! Unfortunately, I just quickly reached to grab her with my left arm and now am feeling the pain in my shoulder. She is OK but we were both startled!

Supposed to cool off for the next few days and by Monday, we might actually see some rain! Am not holding my breath, but we really need it.

Here is a photo of my reindeer...

Beth, have you ever been to Ash Meadows? It is a dirt road, but a really unique place. Even if the visitor center is closed, walk around to the back to the boardwalk to the pools of azure blue spring water and the little pupfish in the creek.

Barbie - I made that same reindeer about 2 years ago with my RV club folks. Here's an idea for future ones: I bought fake eyelashes in Dollar Tree and glued them over the google eyes. So, Rudolph is actually a girl! Or maybe a transvestite? Mine has lost one of her long eyelashes, so looks slightly tipsy. Yours is cuter. Have fun. We have palm fronds around here all the time so I'm sure you will find some with the next winds!

Yes I've been there and seen the pupfish. Neat.
