Good evening. Had a busy day today. My friend signed escrow papers on a house she found today so she was super excited. Her daughter and son in law brought pizza and caesar salad over to celebrate, so we ate in the lobby and had ice cream for dessert. Very tasty.

Judy the two towns affected are still a huge mess. Some areas have started some cleanup but it is going to be a long slow process. You just cannot imagine the devastation it still looks like a bomb landed there. I drove by there yesterday when I went to the donation center and sure didnt see much progress. However, clean up people were only allowed to start cleaning up Dec 1st. When FEMA gave them the ok. So far no clean up started in my old park. Some people are planning on going back but I dont happen to be one of them. It would never be the same and it might be a long time coming. I like that I have found a new house and making it my "home". I sure hope you get to stay in Napa, hoping for the best for you.

Oh BJ your banking problems sound terrible. I too would be very frustrated. Sounds like they didn't think or trial that system out before going live.

I went to Hobby Lobby with my friend today to help her buy some stuff for her new to her house. I love spending other people's money. WELL, I also ended up buying a few things. A few pictures, vases, flowers. LOL I left there about $80 lighter. Everything was 50% off so guess it was a savings ha ha yup that is what I am telling myself.

Still thinking about Tina and hope she is doing better.

last night just about when I was thinking of turning off the generator it went out.... knew there was plenty of gas so thought maybe low on oil so this morning checked that seemed full started.... don't know what it's problem was and hopefully it won't do it tonight...
got the tree decorated... and it's lite up right now the bubble lights are bubbling well except perhaps one but it is because it's laying down will have to see if I can fix it will need to look at those laying down see if they are all not bubbling from here can't tell but see at least 2 perhaps 3 that I need to adjust if possible Larry liked the bubble lights but he didn't like the colored bases when I found some clean ones I got a couple of sets... not sure if that was before or after he passed away...
I also got out my figurines need to still clean off the desk for my nativity set and the table for my village then all will be out...
it was a windy day today till now
saw I think the closest coyote that I've ever seen... I'm pretty much in the same place that I usually am in... saying that so that those who have been here will have an idea how close I was putting ornaments on the tree and looked out the window he went past the feeders and into the wash up the other side and hung around for a few moments... I was amazed... yet haven't heard them this year... usually hear them at night... I will put Shadow on his longer leash so he can get some exercise add perhaps 6 feet if that on to his leash and let him do his thing while I do mine I never leave him outside alone though but I will go feed the birds fill the generator... ect take garbage and put in the back of the truck this afternoon I took him with me to the truck with garbage then put him on his lead while I sat but it was so windy we went inside pretty quickly... hopefully though I won't see the coyote again or perhaps I hope to see him so I know if he is around...
saw a rabbit the other day think it might be my plant eating creature... although they haven't been bothered since I am leaving them on the table....
I don't think I've ever seen a possum
Judi hopefully you won't have to move on before you want to
BJ that has to be frustrating...
Barbi hopefully that gives you the results you want
Karen you are so going to enjoy your new home... what will you do for your eye treatments when you are totally moved?
Sharon hope that snow storm isn't as bad as predicted
and I know that I've missed someone not intentionally just being a senior and not remembering :?
Tina here is hoping you feel better soon
you all have a good day
wish I'd been here in time for the waffles sounds good..and your truck looks spiffy Cheryl

So many comments I planned to make as I read all the posts. Now I've forgotten most. Congrats on the new truck, Cheryl. Barbie, I hope your butt isn't sore tomorrow and that treatment does what you need it too. BJ, I can't imagine going through that. My bank has completely revamped a couple times, but was painless for me. I'd be likely to change banks if I was going through that. And I do all my banking on line. And in this job I'm paid directly into my account. Karen, it seems you keep getting further along. I also have wondered if you're going to be looking for new doctors, etc nearer to the new place. I was very sad to get a letter from my practitioners office that my particular doctor is (probably has by now) moving away. It's hard for me to find a new doctor that I'm in sync with and I was immediately with this one too years ago. They say other doctors in the practice will take on all his patients. I'm betting I won't get back very soon. Skipped my fall annual because of covid and we'd done blood workups in the spring so there wasn't a hurry. Now I feel there's less of one.

The day before coming into Death Valley I got an eye exam. For the third time my eyes have improved a bit. I ordered a new pair of glasses from Zenni and got word today they've shipped. Yay.

Sheila, there aren't as many rigs near you so if you weren't outside that coyote probably didn't feel threatened. If it was daylight that's more unusual but I had one that close to me at Gilbert ray a couple times. I know they were finding other campers scraps... Never a good thing.

Hugs to Tina. Night to all.

I will continue to keep my Rheumatologist as I really like him and I only get my infusion twice a year. See him twice a year so basically every 3 months so will just drive down and stay with my friend. My eye doc's are another scenario. I found one up in my area so will do some checking and see if that is a viable option. I am off this morning to get my scan and shot in right eye then on Friday the other eye then I am off to home. I have January appts scheduled here and will still have my hotel suite until Feb. But I can extend it if I want to. I have until September LOL
