Oh, Karen, I'd rather have the decks. Love them. And love the privacy.

lovely home Karen... it will be even better when you get your new mattress right??? it's going to be really nice when you have it all yours...
Beth that is sad... it would be confusing to be able to use a card or not.. glad that things are improving
did you get your motor home washed Martha... =when you finish yours I will let you work on mine  there is a company that comes out and washes the rigs I think I will call and see what they charge...
Went and did a Walmart run... got my mom's gift it is hard to know what to do for her... when I would get her groceries would usually add in a bag of chocolate something...and she usually enjoyed it... so I decided that I was going to do that send chocolate lots of chocolate not sure how many bags but should tide her over for awhile then decided that was lame would add something to it at the time I thought about pants... but the other day we were talking about how hard changing the batteries in the toothbrush is so I got her an inexpensive electric one hopefully it will do what she needs and so much easier to get it ready to use I am sure... had to laugh though at the thought toothbrush and candy :o the rest will send money... to the parents and they can do the walking just need to do it asap thought... of course it won't be the first time I've been late nor I am sure the last
finally got the stuff moved around a bit so think I could put the tree up... not sure if I should take the dolls out of their bins first or not might give me more room... Shadow for a little guy takes up a lot of room
still have plants I left them on the table so don't think the rabbits can get to them or any other creature... deer could not much I can do if it was them
saw a person riding her bike out here on BLM land that made me think of Louisa (Roadweaver?) wonder where she is and how she is... anyone know?
Tina get to feeling better... we miss you

Karen, I see a lot of patio furniture in your future! You could turn the back yard into a zen garden with some small ornamental trees and/or flowering bushes, some pretty rocks or sculptures. Maybe a water feature. They are simple but pretty and easy to maintain. Would work with your new minimalistic lifestyle. :D Just a thought...

Ideas:

You could put window box planters with flowers in between the higher railroad ties. (I have always wanted to do landscape design, so my mind is full of ideas! :D ).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I will be getting rid of most of the railroad ties. They serve no purpose where they are. I will definitely be exploring some minimalistic ideas this summer LOL
