Morning All, these early morning posts are a result of waking every three hours a side effect of Aleve. Have stopped taking it but the effects are still disrupting my life. Waiting for Food Lion to open at 7am so I can get vanilla ice cream for the piece of my son-in-law delicious apple pie on Thursday. Back muscles finally feeling nice and loose so therapist can stop leaving his fingerprints on my back. Next stage is strengthen my back. My 62 year old son said he is proud of me and wants to be just like me when he grows up. Can’t ask for more than that. Be safe

Good morning Shirl. I woke up a little before 4am so just got up. Now having coffee and watching the news. I just want our country to "get on with it", I would feel the same no matter who won. I am looking forward to 2021 it sure cant be worse than 2020.

Guess I will do a little more spiffing of the house. I am kind of at a standstill until I get my new vinyl windows installed. I want to buy window coverings as I am so tired of looking at these bent, falling apart levelor coverings. They will be the first things to go LOL I dont want to do much shopping yet for accessories like lamps, bedding, etc until all my furniture is delivered. I am pretty sure my bed wont be coming for a while but I do have one up in the spare bedroom but no mattresses yet...........soon LOL Macy's says delivery Dec 2nd or 4th cant remember. My kitchen is in pretty good shape for things but I keep going to get something I know I have but of course not anymore. I just ordered some Mason jar cannisters, I like how airtight they are. My brown sugar never got hard, hope these are as good. Had to buy a muffin tin and cookie sheet, ya know the important things in life. Going to make some muffins to take to my neighbor on Wednesday. I like one or two but then I am usually done so will freeze a couple and take the rest to him.

Hope today finds Tina continuing to be on the mend and getting comfy at home.

I too am looking forward to 2021. I have decided I am going to my daughters for Christmas. I am so sick and tired of not seeing the grands and greats. I may have another great in 21...keep fingers crossed (IVF).
Annie, I am a little late, but loved the expression on the face of #1. The eyes. Didn’t even register the hair. Don’t particularly care for bright red lipstick. Interesting what each of us “sees”.
I think Physical Therapists are worth their weight in Gold! And, sports medicine doctors have helped me more than regular docs regarding my back situation. There is one doc at Kaiser I will refuse to see if he is ever offered to me again. He rediculed me and my opinion.

Thinking about Tina everyday and hoping she can soon get home. It's scary to think that something like this could hit someone as healthy as Tina. I could just see me trying to show a dog and getting up and down in front of an audience.

My son told me last night that they are coming here instead of going to Baton Rouge. Darn, now I have to clean house. I probably haven't seen the snack bar since last Thanksgiving. I'm trying to decide if I should go get one of the stuffed chickens. I have one of the football looking turkey roasts but I like leftover turkey and those don't go very far. I could cook the turkey thighs too. The place that sells the chickens will be very crowded. I need to get a can of peaches to make the cobbler. Just what I need, more desserts. If it's good I might make one for the campout.

I didn't wake up until almost 8:00 but then I didn't go to bed until after 1:00. Sugar and the cats are slipping to let me sleep that late. Guess I need to get dressed if I'm going to get anything done. I'm trying to take something back out to the old house every time I go out. I got some shelves so I can put things above the flood level and not have to keep washing stuff after a hurricane. I sure hope we don't have any next year. We have had more than our share.

Good morning, Lyn! I, too, look forward to 2021, with fingers crossed that an effective vaccine will soon be available.

Thank you for your kind comments on my book cover - LOL! The "eyes" have it!

Lyn, please check your PM's.

Thank you.

Got up for my putting golf this morning. Only 4 of us today so it went quick. Last night I tried to figure out the spreadsheets I downloaded from the woman who was training me in last year. My instructions don't match up with the spread sheets so maybe I am missing something. Will have to call her and find out. I finally gave up on it last night and went to bed. I need to try and get my printer connected to to my Chromebook so I can print out and copy forms. I think it can be done now, but I am missing the cord to plug the printer into the Chromebook so I am ordering a new one. I think I also need some new ink. It dries up pretty quick if you don't use it once in awhile.

Still haven't heard back from the painter guy so maybe I can get my friend Dave to paint for me since he just retired last week from his job and is looking for handyman stuff to do. I ordered some teal lights to put around my deck from Home Depot and they should arrive today. I have been hemming and hawing about putting up my Christmas tree this year. Feeling a bit like a Scrooge this year. Maybe, maybe not... :?

It looks like someone nibbled on the food in the dish I left out on the deck overnight. I sure hope Lily is OK and comes back around. Martha, are you gonna name your new kitty?

Need to get to laundry and some outside projects today. Beautiful sunny, breezy day today!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, I was calling the cat Old Lady so guess her name will be Lady. When things slow down after Thanksgiving and my campout I'll bring her and see if she has a chip. I only have a few neighbors and she isn't their cat so don't know where she came from unless she was dropped off. I think she is better off here than where ever she came from.

I went and got a stuffed chicken and some crawfish pies. I love their crawfish pies. The store has put in more freezers and different things. It is a specialty meat market. You can get a Turducken for about $100. I never have bought one of their stuffed roasts. Those are expensive too.

The grass wasn't all that long but we have a week of rain coming so I decided to mow.
