Good morning Beth, Peggy, and all who follow! I woke around 08 to bright sun streaming through window. Rain gone until at least Tuesday. Sure glad I don't live in Minnesota, where my son lives and works! He sent a photo from his squad car of tne snow falling and reduced visibility he was working in last night! Snow is pretty unless you have to drive in it nightly!
My eye got very blurry, as expected yesterday and remains so, making reading the job of my so ewhat out of focus left eye, not fun. Look forward to right eye healing so I can see well again! As its said, this too shall pass, but meanwhile it's annoying.
So, since I could not see well to read at length, I pulled my sock drawer out of the dresser, off it's track and completely emptied it, cleaned inside of bits and cleaned the drawer front with Murphy oil cleaner, then rubbed in beeswax wood restorer, and polished. As it set before final polish, I cleaned tne space where the drawer goes. Each drawer in this dresser has wood below and above it and I found a pile of socks that had fallen behind, as well as a coating of dust below the drawer bottom. Who knew dust could get under a drawer that's closed most of the time! Found several socks I had actually been looking for, thinking they had clung to a tshirt I had put away or something else, but in fact were hiding out behind the drawer. My back was screaming after I did that and folded and vacuum bagged my Halloween tshirts (all12 of them), leggings , and sock collection, plus vacuumed my room and bathroom. So I took my CBD and hydrated and rested for a while. I decided one drawer a day would get it done in a week, and I'm good with that.
Going to tune in to church in a few min, so I bid you a blessed day.
