Good afternoon ladies!

It was 50 degrees when I got up and we'll top off around 76 with sunshine.

I am going to try to show you the layout and pvc piping for the casita on our property.

Good morning Irmi! It's a chilly 64 yet here. Sun shining, really quiet out. I need to get moving as my lawyer has papers I need to sign, changing name on last few things. Otherwise nothing special planned. Just gotta keep plugging away at decluttering.

Morning ladies. A reminder, it's election day. If you haven't yet voted, do so. It's a beautiful, sunny day here. I stayed in bed until temps were 65. Should get to low/mid 80's and maybe I'll do something on my to do list. Maybe not.

The day has started out good. I voted with no waiting and the deli had chicken and sausage gumbo. It got down to 49 last night but is already up to 78. In a few days it will be back in the upper 80's.

I was worried about Frosty. He didn't come in last night and wasn't here this morning. A few minutes ago I saw him coming across the field. He looks like he has been rolling in a fire pit. He's a white cat but is half black now. I wanted to get some flea bombs when I went to town but do you think I remembered that. The fleas are getting bad in the old house.

Irmi, thank you for the picture of your casita. I guess you know we will need updates. lol We had intentions of building something on the property we bought North of here but that never got done.

It's going to be a long wait for the election results tonight.

Work is slow today. Am ok with that after yesterday's marathon.

Will be unplugged for several days. May check in here since this place isn't political.

Have a good day!

Had a busy day today. My phone reminder went off to give Emma her Heartguard. Uh Oh....burned up. So I called my vet and explained why I needed more Heartguard so soon. She came back on the phone and said the boss said for me to come in and get it...........NO CHARGE. WOW I really appreciated that gesture. So I got a years worth of Heartguard now.
Then had the appt with my Rheumatologist and all is well there. He bought a house up in Bellingham as an investment and a place for his family to go during fire season. His wife has family up there too. I tell ya this scared everyone....Big time. He lives up in the hills of Ashland and the fire started in Ashland but down on the flat and because of the wind it headed straight north for us. He said last time Bellingham had a fire was NEVER LOL

Came home and picked up my neighbor and we went mattress shopping. Ended up at Macy's and I got 2 sets for $1000. Got 10% off on sale and another 10% off for being a fire victim. Then another 10% off for having a Macy's card. AND they will deliver it to me in Roseburg,,,,,,,,,,NO CHARGE. I didnt even put it on my Macy's card LOL So made out like a bandit there. Will deliver it on Dec 4th. Most other places want 4-8 weeks. So I am pretty happy right now.

I am going up there on Thursday to get some stuff done and having some other stuff delivered. My stove comes on Sunday. Who knew? but Lowes is right across the street LOL Will head back here on Sunday (depending on what time they deliver) or Monday. I dont want to drive over the 4 passes in the dark. And we are expecting rain for a few days. My life is coming together slow but sure. Soon be time to start buying the little things you just dont know you need. But that will be fun. Thanks to the generosity of so many of you and all the well wishes surely does warm my heart. Thank you all again. I will definitely be taking some pictures as things come together. Will spend this weekend continuing to line my shelves and clean all the nooks and crannies.

out on my little piece of BLM land all set up but the valve wasn't long enough... so will have to rehook up some time who knows when but my tank is empty... was going to go and fill some water jugs to put down the drains but wonder if I should just let the faucets and flushing do it... I did something that I am not sure I should have cause I will admit was being lazy  and filled my tank from the rv park... with city water the water in town is not the best what we get out on BLM land is well water... so not sure if I will just use that up quicker..or what... hate the thoughts of having to hook back up some time in the un known future... it involves more than one thinks even though it is only total about 6 miles... oh well gotta do what one has to do...
took a nap not sure if it was the driving or heat but it felt good tomorrow will go in and do what I need to like water gas.... guess what ???? the generator is running !!!! so happy about that
it sure is empty in my corner wish more would be here... but Kerry can't yet and her friends the Canadians can't come... so I sit here alone...
been trying to drink more forget to but it's so hot should try harder...
should spend some time on the afghan I am currently working on... and tomorrow put things away that are in whatever so that they travel better... Larry had made a shelve that fit behind the table up against the windows it came down not sure how he attached it but really want it back as it was where several of my plants went and one of the plants I forgot was hanging is on the floor behind the table need to figure out how to reach it poor thing is probably thirsty as well...
you all have a good day
