Good evening. As I am sure you already know, Beth, you can refuse the next order and not have to pay to ship it back. It will automatically get refunded. That happens to me a lot when things are "lost" along the way. (I think Amazon is going to ask for a welfare check on me pretty soon since I haven't ordered from them for several weeks now!
)
I managed to get a few creative projects worked on today. I had bought a metal flower sculpture for the front of my house but the colors weren't quite right so I painted it the colors of my house and added some glitter to it. Need to get my friend Dave to put it up for me since it is going up above my window (that has a metal awning) in front.
Was plugging in my golf cart when a couple came by and we started talking. Then she asked "what the heck happened to your tree?!". They agree it looks awful.
Also did a small sample area of the primer paint I bought for the outside trim around the windows since what I painted on it before started peeling off right away. Will paint the teal over that tomorrow and see if it sticks or not. If it does, I can paint the rest of the trim with that before painting the teal. First I have to remove the teal I painted on the one window last year that is partly peeled off now. I think power washing it will do it.
I bought a print of 3 horses at Hobby Lobby awhile back that I want to hang on the side of my house under the carport. It has teal and orange colors on it so will go with the colors on the house nicely. Just painted a clear UV protectant spray on it today. I want the house to look nice this season.
I have a couple other projects, one being adding some white lattice to the lower half of the railing around my deck, and the other is a flower box for the front of the deck with faux flowers in it. Bought the flowers at HL the other day for half price. Just need to drill holes in the plastic flower box and fasten it to the railing and add the flowers in the foam I put inside it.
Last thing will be to get some tomato and strawberry plants and a couple of hibiscus plants for my pots.
