Weeping Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

That poor tree. That's what a lot of our trees look like now if they aren't on the ground. My poor rose bushes took a beating. Half of my Crape Myrtle tree broke. I only found part of the hummingbird feeder. My birds might have left already.

My neighbor called about 9:00 tonight to tell me the power is on. I have been going home every day but it's 30 miles one way. Will be nice to be really home. My sister got power back this afternoon.

Barbie, my supervisor at my last job didn't have an Accounting Degree and wouldn't listen to me when I would tell him how an entry needed to be made. It made my heart happy when he would have to reverse what he did.

Sheila, I would only get a small generator to run the freezer if we have a storm. Hopefully I won't need one this year.

Beth, i have no idea where the dust comes from in my RV! Last fall, when I was at my Napa son's house, he asked what he could do to help me, and I asked him to help me do some cleaning. He first vacuumed my fuzzy ceiling, and then helped me wipe down the walls with a damp rag. I periodically wash down a portion of walls, but there is just too much for me to do.

Even though I seldom open windows because of dust coming in, I still end up with dust that is really thick in places. Need to use a damp cloth to get rid of it, but it comes back fast. Sometimes if seems as if all the dust that you might have in a large house concentrates in our tiny places!
