Martha, instead of moving back and forth with each storm, maybe it is time to just move north, if that is possible.
I am glad to be in Zion National Park for the next 12 days because I have a bunch of stuff I need to catch up with, and it includes more than my usual grading papers. I need to clean out and reorganize my "basement" storage. This is a nice, clean place with good gravel to set things down on, so it will be a good opportunity. Weather will be good also. Some stuff I will no doubt toss or give away and some I will try to put in storage at one of my son's houses.
I also need to print some legal stuff out and get it notorized and sent out. Plus, I (hopefully) have a package coming I will pick up in St. George, which is the nearest big city around here. And the big one---I REALLY need to do some cleaning, like inside of windows, vacuuming, wiping grime off cabinets, etc. I've been lazy and just not doing what I needed to do in last month or so, so things have gotten behind. Also, need to iron my seals and try to make a new nighttime privacy drape for my front window. I got some beige material and a snap kit, so want to do that as well.
Might even do a tiny bit of bike riding and sightseeing, or it that too much??? I have been here before, so have seen most of it anyway. Did enjoy the doe and her two fawns last night that wandered by. One tiny fawn stuck close to mom, but the other one reminded me of my older son at age 3 or so--kept wandering all over the place in stores! Never looked back or cared that he was away from me.
