Still Morning, all quiet on the shore. Just stopping in so I can tell Martha that I am watching Delta too. Martha, thinking of you, glad you have your RV. Be safe

Good morning everyone! I need to get moving and head to AAA to get new sticker for car. I opened envelope with this years tag, and the tag had caught on envelope when being out in and peeled and stuck itself to inside of envelope! Only other plan is to store for any last minute items we will need for the week while I can't drive! Temps cooling slowly, 90 today they tell us. Holdings rain dance for rain predicted for Saturday!
Have a good day. Travel safe.

Slept in today. Went to the grocery store later. Will go to WM tomorrow. Candiss isn't too happy with the house. Her ex- husband found it for her and didn't check it out very good. Needs some work. I told her once she gets all her stuff put away and get it decorated, it will feel more like home and the stuff that needs work can be done later.

I am not too impressed with this town. Kind of redneck and dumpy. But as long as she is happy here. She lived in this town before so knows it well.

Hope the storm misses you Martha. It is so bone dry around here. I ca see why the fires are so bad. Everything is brown. They need rain here badly.

I forgot my meds but was able to pick up more at WM last night.

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks Shirl and Barbie, I'm watching the storm too. The latest path is more to the West. Not good for me. I got all the mowing done today in case we get another 3 to 5 inches of rain or more. Will move 2 vehicles North tomorrow. I haven't talked to the guy that has the cows. I was scratching my head when they brought them back now. Don't they watch the weather? Better start my list of things to do. If we have another year like this one I'm going to have to laminate my list.

Martha, instead of moving back and forth with each storm, maybe it is time to just move north, if that is possible.

I am glad to be in Zion National Park for the next 12 days because I have a bunch of stuff I need to catch up with, and it includes more than my usual grading papers. I need to clean out and reorganize my "basement" storage. This is a nice, clean place with good gravel to set things down on, so it will be a good opportunity. Weather will be good also. Some stuff I will no doubt toss or give away and some I will try to put in storage at one of my son's houses.

I also need to print some legal stuff out and get it notorized and sent out. Plus, I (hopefully) have a package coming I will pick up in St. George, which is the nearest big city around here. And the big one---I REALLY need to do some cleaning, like inside of windows, vacuuming, wiping grime off cabinets, etc. I've been lazy and just not doing what I needed to do in last month or so, so things have gotten behind. Also, need to iron my seals and try to make a new nighttime privacy drape for my front window. I got some beige material and a snap kit, so want to do that as well.

Might even do a tiny bit of bike riding and sightseeing, or it that too much??? I have been here before, so have seen most of it anyway. Did enjoy the doe and her two fawns last night that wandered by. One tiny fawn stuck close to mom, but the other one reminded me of my older son at age 3 or so--kept wandering all over the place in stores! Never looked back or cared that he was away from me.
