September 1 Roll Call

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Still the 1st here. I forgot rabbits this month.
I've been out camping with friends several times in August. I do love it in The Rockies. We will try to get out at least once in September if the weather cooperates.
Fall is definitely in the air here, morning lows in the low 40's highs in the mid 60's.
Not much else going on here. Take care all and keep healthy.

Anita, i just pulled up the Leavenworth, WA website. What a charming place to settle. Congratulations on that decision.
Barbie, glad you've got tomorrow off - sounds like it was a hectic day today.
Cheryl, enjoy MO for me & stay safe. I still miss the COE in KS that I frequented on weekends.
Karen, I, too, thought August lasted longer than usual. I thought it was Sept 1 yesterday. Guess that's what happens when you retire.
JudyJB, glad you got a reprieve on your class deadline. Hope you enjoy exploring the campground on your bike.
Velda, I'll be thinking of you on Saturday. I'm sure Mel is watching over you. :) How scary about someone getting into your bank account. I'm glad you caught it early on & the CU took care of everything as quickly as they did.
I hope everyone experiencing the heat, the smoke and/or heavy rains stay safe. This too shall pass so take good care of yourself until it does.

I've had 2 delightful days with my sweet grandson. He started taking 4-5 steps today on his own. Having him by himself is so precious. I get breaks while he naps & love watching how he plays when he's awake. Love, love, love this little guy! Tomorrow I have him & Olivia so it will be busier, but I'm sure we'll make it a good day. They are only little for such a short time. God has planted me exactly where I'm supposed to be right now. :D

Take care,
Catherine

Catherine, you sound like such a happy grandma! I am sure they are thrilled to be with you too! What does your dog think of the little ones?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sadie is good with them but I typically keep her in her kennel with the baby since I never know what he might try - plus her shredding is terrible & I don't want him crawling around or eating dog hair  Her kennel is her safe place. She doesn't seem to mind it at all.
