Good Morning Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

More fires today north of LA and one small one in Joshua Tree that luckily is under control. I heard there are some big ones up near San Francisco now too.

3 people out here decided to go hiking in 115* heat and high humidity today and two got airlifted off the mountain trail in Palm Springs (along with the firemen who hiked up to rescue them), and one was at the Indio Badlands right behind where I live. I heard all the sirens this afternoon. Just can't understand why people still insist on going out in this kind of heat, especially hiking up steep mountains with no shade (just rocks on these mountains). Then they also risk the lives of their rescuers.

Looks like we are in for at least another week of this heat and humidity. Oh fun! Hope we don't have any rolling black outs here.

Here is an (almost) before photo of my upper cabinets in my bedroom. Putting contact paper on the doors.

And both done...still have more to do but just wanted to do these to see if I like the look. I do.

Barbie, I think you did a good job. I would never have thought abut doing something like that.

Thanks Irmi.
I did that many years ago when I had a condo in MN. I put contact paper on the doors in the kitchen and really changed the whole look. Then did that with the kitchen in my last house. Will put this in my current kitchen as well. I have so many cupboards and drawers tho that I am worried it will be too much. But it is removable so if I don't like it there, I can take it down.
