Happy Birthday. I know from your posts that you will continue to find things to enjoy and celebrate through this coming year of unbirthdays! And, yes I missed getting the message yesterday. I am not sure of many folks would be remembered on their birthdays if it wasn't for Facebook reminding us....... I know that the old fashion way was to maintain a paper birthday calendar.... but that never happened around here. Hope you had a good day!

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. This was my first birthday without my family. My family are all healthcare workers or first responders so we haven’t been together since Christmas. We keep in touch but they felt it would be safer for me if there is no contact with them. They were more upset than me that I would spend the day alone. Irmi s talk about crab cakes gave me the idea of a birthday celebration which would make my children feel better. I ordered a take out crab cake dinner from a nice restaurant nearby. Had a slice of Sams Cub coconut cake in the freezer and ice cream. Planned for them but really enjoyed by me. . When there is less heat and humidity and I can breathe outdoors we will get together for a cookout. Be safe

Barbie, the cake looked delicious. I tried swiping the icing with my finger but no luck.

my dd stopped at her brother's for something and the youngest who is 6 was outside with them my daughter tried to do the air hug she would had nothing to do with it said I hate pretend hugs and gave her aunt a big hug...it's so sad our kids have to go through this..
so hopefully soon you will get more than a air hug

Judy, my children sent me a beautiful card which made me cry and an Amazon gift card. I really appreciate the gift but shopping holds no joy now days. Will just tuck it away.
