It’s Tuesday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It’s Tuesday!

Postby Othersharon » Tue Jul 21, 2020 1:36 pm

Good afternoon. I started to post earlier and then realized it was almost time to leave for my hair appointment! Thank goodness my phone notified me! It’s bad enough that I lose track of days but time too sometimes! It all seems to just blend together! We have storms all around us again but so far only dark sky. It may just go around us again. My poor yard is turning yellow but as soon as we get a nice all day rain it’ll pop back. At least the temps aren’t as high today! A nice break before it comes back! I had thought I might get to my favorite farm market today but don’t think that’ll happen with this weather. They are located in the zone for strong winds and heavy downpours. So that’ll get moved to another day this week. So that’s about it for me today. Nothing exciting but guess that’s a good thing. Sue, glad you’re going to get out for a trip. Know you were like me and not sure if you would even de-winterize. Sure glad I did! Bet you will be too.Have a great rest of the day, everyone!

It was raining when I got up this morning but has cleared up and warmed up. Oh great, there is an invest coming into the Gulf and headed for the Louisiana and Texas coast. Hope it is nothing. There is another invest in the Atlantic and could get to the Gulf about the time of our campout. That can go away too.

I was trying to figure out how I was going to work on Orange Boy's ears this morning. When I looked he was on the porch so I could bring him into the bathroom. He weighs 15 pounds so a big boy to be toting around. I gave him some kitty treats so hopefully he will come back in the morning.

I seldom get unknown calls on my cell phone but I have gotten 6 today. I didn't answer any so don't know what they are up to now.

I got my birthday box from my ex-dil. I don't know where she gets all this stuff and why she sends it to me. There was 2 more tote bags(she has something for bags), zippered cover for a blanket or quilt, hot pan holder, correction tape?, 2 plastic rain ponchos, a rain jacket with a hood, 2 boxes of glue traps for mice, hummingbird feeder, big hook to hang a purse from something, a hook to hang something in a car, plastic egg holder, shelf liner, Mr Clean erasers, 5 rolls of doggie bags, a throw pillow, a sewing basket and a lamp. The lamp is pretty but it's more like a night light than a lamp. The rain jacket I can probably use.

I would like the hummingbird feeder  my granddaughter thought that there was a lot of useful stuff but the why???
doing laundry today comforter is out hanging on the line as well as the sheets... yesterday I took down my curtains in the bed room tired of them  never have liked the pattern or the color... wiped down some of the walls discovered that the screen's come out didn't know that :o will have to look at the rest of the screens see if they are of the same type or not... it was purely accidental
I want to measure my bed to get a new mattress but can't find my tape measure usually keep it in one spot but isn't there... kinda wonder if sil thought it was his ...
hopefully the sheets on the line will be dry in a bit so I can remake my bed having it torn apart would be a good time to measure as this one company said to measure the inside of the box I sorta wonder why? wouldn't it be too small then???
you all have a good day
anyone gotten to the the comet? don't think I have but have looked for it the night skies have been so pretty
