Headed to another hot summer day in northern California! But concerned for those in path of storms. Our peak yesterday was 104. Probably same today. So, we mostly stay inside, taking advantage of central AC.
Our area has been quiet protest wise, though Sacramento had some damage, National Guard added to local law enforcement, seems to have put a halt to damage so peaceful protestors can be heard. My son went tuesday to riot training for his department. Although his area has had a small protest, his excitement later that night, was, dragging a rather large bear off a highway where it lost to a pickup truck. He managed to scare his partner by growling as they drug the bear, partner thinking for a moment that bear woke up. Like father and grandfather like son! Same warped sense of humor.
Barbara, I hope work goes well and safely for you and colleagues. Those traveling, stay safe. Beth, hope the store sales are going well. Curious how many visitors are arriving in various popular areas. I did kind of have an ironic laugh this morning when a news story bragged no new cases from a Memorial Day celebration crowd at a certain lake in Ozarks. Let's see, Memorial day was 4 days ago, 7 if you count back to include friday, on a disease with a 10-14 day incubation period? Someone needs to recalculate, since cases could still crop up in another week or so. That said, sure hope they are right, we don't need any new excuses to lock down again.
Judy hope your scans went well.
