Morning everyone. Haven’t posted in a few days, but have been reading. Had two early morniNg appts. With my truck to get a spray in bedliner put n the truck bed and assist steps put on as well. Then back home, just got into things and the day is gone. And the afternoon is devoted to daily walks sometime along the line.
Cloudy day here with a bit of weak sun. Having a spell of chilly weather and supposed to have some scattered rain/#snow mix, next couple of days. Not unusual around Mothers Day weekend.
Found out a couple of days ago, that the State Park I have reservations atw for the week leading to July 4th, will not be accepting new reservations till July 17th At earliest.. The water well has gone bad and they need to put in a new well. With everything being at a standstill these past couple months, plus a spending freeze and having to determine where to put in a new well, plus the possibility of havIng to install a whole new sanitation system, the project has been significantly delayed. They don’t know yet what they are going to do with those of us who have current reservations. Possibilities are cancelling all current reservations, refunding all monies or giving us a choice to move our dates to later in the season If there are sites available for one’s chosen dates. The other possibility is opening the campgrounds as a rustic campground and refunding us the monies between the two different rates. We can camp, but with no facilities or water. We can haul in our own with us. So we wait and see. Due to the state budget being hard hit from the virus, there is also a hiring freeze, so many parks haven’t been able to hire summer staff either. The freezes are part of the reason tbe parks will not open till June 22 as time is needed to prepare them for summer season. I have kind of been having second thoughts about going that week since the virus came. Not to thrilled about getting into the campground with the holiday crowd. Normally I don’t care, but this is different.
Judy, sounds like you are goibg to have your hands full getting the house cleared out, But once it’s done it will be the end. Good luck.
Barbie, you are really into the gourd projects now. Saw the pictures of the two you did. Beautiful work.
Guess I should get my day going here. Have some coats and jackets to move from office closet to closet by front door and then see what else I want to get into. Have a couple loose ends to tie up on my basement stairway and some outside craft Projects lined up. Have a nice day everyone. Keep safe and Healthy.
