Saving Your Health, One Mask at a Time

The following is a commonsense article I shared on FB that has been shared several times more by friends. I think it states in simple terms the basics. And makes me feel better by the sense it makes.

I’m glad to see you post this here Beth; certainly one of the most practical I’ve seen.

My problem is that I have not been able to get a mask of any kind. I don't have a sewing machine and don't sew. I also am not very handy with fabric to make one with rubber bands. I did try, but it kept falling apart.

My son in California has a couple extra his mother-in-law made that he would send me, but I have to find out if I can get general delivery at the local post office and then hope it comes while I am nearby.

I wish some handy sewers would make a ton of these and sell them like girl scout cookies on sidewalks in front of grocery stores.

It was Soos who made one from a sock. Here's a YouTube link for doing it. All you need is a sock and a pair of scissors.
