Morning All, just popping in to post link from Carol and Bill blog. It’s a video posted by doctor treating the corona virus. It’s excellent and I feel much better after watching it.

Good morning, almost noon! :o

We had a good steady rain all night long. Back yard is full of water but will drain down soon. Sun is out now but we may get more rain later. We really needed the nice steady rain instead of the usual torrential flooding rains we have had.

Didn't get anything done yesterday. Gloomy days suck all the energy and motivation out of me. Hopefully, I will get something accomplished today.

Have a good one!

I have a list of about 10 items I need to get done. Most have been sitting around for several days, so I thought a list might help me get moving, however, it is amazing how few I am achieving each day! But at least I can't use the excuse that I keep forgetting.

I have ordered some shorts in brighter colors from Penneys. It was frustrating a couple of years ago when all they had in my size were gray, green-gray, blue-gray, and beige. Most of what I own is well-worn anyway, so I am tossing out all the old drab stuff and getting shorts in white, orange, light blue, and brick. Ditto for some of my shirts that are too large and baggy. So, at least I have been cleaning out my closet.

Now, I need to go out and get my ladder out so I can see why my porch light is not working. It is LED so should not have burned out, but is definitely not working, so maybe something is just loose?? I will at least take the bulb out and see if I can get a brighter one. Might have to order online, as there is nothing in town for RVs, unfortunately. Got my bike out yesterday and rode to the post office, so will go for bike ride if I can find someplace locally within riding distance. I am really liking this RV park. It is quiet, filled with mostly older long-term campers, and has no pool yet, so does not attract a lot of kids. No trees or even picnic tables, as it is really only partly finished. Advantage is on edge of town so near stores, including a Walgreens and Walmart about a mile away. ACE hardware even walking distance.

Sometimes I wonder why I even start certain projects. I decided I needed to redo my wateriing system. Had to take up all the old tubing etc. Then had to find where the tubing was to connect it to my valve. Layed the tubing out in the sun so it was more pliable, all 100 ft of it LOL. Then had to put the end caps on but I still have to join it in the middle to my valve..........tomorrow...maybe.

Got the raised beds all dug up and fertilizer added. Oh yeah and I pulled all that old tubing up also, so it is on the agenda to also redo it. When I do plant in another few weeks I will be ready ha ha THEN will redo the front. I turned on the auto watering and checked that all the valves were working and no leaks. Had one but that was easily fixed by just putting the emitter back on. We are going to be in the low 80's tomorrow. Fire season is on everyones mind as we are very dry with draught conditions.

I might have to try some of that CBD oil or cream for my shoulder that has been bugging me

Remember our bread conversations?? And the fact that some of us discovered flour was in short supply? This article explains it all. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/fo ... ing-bread/

I'm glad I'm in good company when it comes to not being motivated  my dd thinks that I ought to leave sooner than later like today perhaps... found out that starting Friday I think it is that travelers entering into Utah will have to do a on line thing telling where they have been do they have any symptoms of the virus ect even if I thought I could make it there by Friday I don't see how I could even if I had my husband helping... it always took us 2-3 days after being somewhere for a long period of time to get ready to leave... so will plan on leaving on Weds and hopefully I will be ready to go then keep telling myself I need to do something every day but today nothing happened that helped in getting ready to go... other than taking some books to the library someone must be working as the books sounded like they went all the way to the bottom of the container. Tomorrow need to go to Wal Mart pick up some needed and some not needed but if I am there might as well...
when I get back will tackle something that needs to be done.. just where to start is half the battle..
I was going to go through my yarn and get rid of some of it.. but haven't done that yet.. hopefully soon
It rained today and windy oh my was so windy it seems like it's been windier this year than most.
have a good day

Didn't have a good day today. I have been feeling very frustrated with everything, short-tempered and impatient, and on the verge of crying (which I never do). I think this is all really getting to me and I don't really know how to deal with it. I have a headache, grinding my teeth all the time and sleeping a lot.

On the bright side. I got a $50 check from my insurance company after cancelling my trailer insurance. I also got a letter from the owners of the shop saying I will be getting $65 from them for product sales and a bonus. So that all helps a little bit.

I will try again tomorrow to get something accomplished.

My plans were to leave Sat. I would have preferred Fri, but I'm waiting on something I'm being sent by UPS. It was supposed to be here today or tomorrow, then yesterday they changed it to Monday. So now I'll leave next Tuesday and really have to high tail it. If the package doesn't arrive Mon, I'll see if I can leave UPS a note (If my neighbors are willing to hold it till fall for me). If it should happen to arrive Fri or Sat, I'll leave the next day. Actually the weather is having a couple day cold dip.. Real cold dip... In Co and NE, so leaving a bit later might work better. Except I hate driving 300 miles a day. That said, I want to get there this time without necessarily stopping to smell the roses.

Aww, Barbie, it's hard times. Hugs to you. And don't put pressure on yourself to HAVE to do anything right now. Other than fixing myself food and eating (and eating more), oh, and walking Ty, I haven't been doing much. I was feeling guilty but I'm not anymore.

Barbie, sorry this is getting to you. Work on your gourds and take your mind off of it.

I didn't do much of anything today except make my strawberry pie. The deli in town had crawfish étouffée today and I though hard about going to get some. I have to tell myself it not worth getting sick just to go get lunch.

I need to go see if I can get Annie to come in the house. Ding Bat has taken to staying outside a lot and doesn't want to come in the house.
