Okay, staying in one place, for me, isn't so bad. And the temps do help. Ty and I are off for our morning desert constitutional. He's been ready for awhile.

Thought I would throw out the date so y’all would know what day it is, since we are all losing track

Made a fast run to the store this morning and now am staying home from stores. I think the peak of this virus is fast approaching and I don’t want to be out there. Pat, I don’t blame your city council. They were just saying on TV that rural areas aren’t equipped to handle this. It’s better to be safe than sorry. It will come, just a matter of when. Word is, it will probably be June 1st before we start to pull out of this. But each state and area are different. Social distancing guidelines are to remain in effect till end of April. Our cases in the county jumped to 17 yesterday. Word is out, that anybody coming north from southern Michigan to second homes or returning from other states, self quarantine for 14 days. Don’t even go to a grocery store, use online ordering/delivery.

Started my spring cleaning today. Washed the walls, woodwork, windows etc. in my guest bedroom this morning. Smells so good in there now. Tomorrow I will tackle my office and maybe the guest bathroom.

So, that’s the only excitement from this neck of the woods. Stay safe everyone.

Good morning Beth!

I had a rough night last night. I had terrible indigestion, and then my mind was racing. I go thru a lot of emotional turmoil on and after my daughter's birthday every year. It brings up a lot of negative feelings regarding the adoption situation and messes with me for a few days afterward. That, with everything else going on right now, isn't helping any. So I was awake until almost 4am before I finally fell asleep. Woke up at 9am. I am sure there is a nap in my day somewhere.

Need to cancel my doctors appointment for Friday which is not necessary right now. I also have a dentist appt on Wednesday for cleaning so I will call them and see if I should keep or postpone that. Got some other important things to take care of today and then work on the little gourd some and do some more cleaning around here. Lots of projects to work on, but deciding which ones to do is hard. I can never make up my mind with so many choices!

I have a lot of projects I could do but hard to decide on one. lol My office needs cleaning in the worst way but I won't throw any papers away and we have a burn ban. I finally got my tax papers together yesterday and brought them to town this morning. So glad to get that done. The only person at the CPA office was the secretary and she was just taking papers at the door. Hope they are working from home.

I got gas at Walmart for $1.379. I can't even remember when gas was that low. Went by the post office and stoped at the local grocery. They even had some off brand toilet paper. I didn't bring my list so forgot some things. I wouldn't drink coffee when I got up so I wouldn't have to go to the bathroom in town. I have a slight headache from not drinking my usual quart of coffee.

My bread wasn't too bad. I used part oat flour so that makes a soft bread. My yeast had been in the refrigerator for a long time. I wasn't sure it was still good so used extra. I think that made the bread hard to cut without falling apart. It rose a lot and then the top fell a little when it started baking.

I better go walk Sugar. I wish I could let her off leash but she heads to the old carport to eat cat food and chase a cat if one will run. The guys that worked on the carport took down a cable that I could hook her to. I am afraid to get on a ladder to put it back up. That would be an accident waiting to happen.

It’s sunny at moment here, with clouds passing by. It’s been in 60’s for a week, but we will trend towards 80 as week continues. We are safely tucked in with all we need here. I was as safe as I could achieve at store last Thursday, so hoping that holds. With at least a month of stay at home ahead, it’s time to better organize my day to get more exercise, a little sun each day as available, get back to sorting and tossing. Having to make big pile in my room to go to charity when they open back up, is in the way, but not much to do about that. It’s sure quiet out! No traffic noise or kids playing. Not even hearing trains in distance. Fuel prices dropped some but was still $2.39 gallon regular, as of last night when I checked gas buddy app. California is being hit hard by CoVid, though my county has under 100 cases last I heard. Yesterday I joined a church wide fast for our world and hear some other churches did as well. We will get through this, but it’s a scary time. You all take care and stay in touch.

I had to drive 65 miles to Gainesville, FL, today to get some legal documents notarized and consult with the bank where my uncle's account is. Long drive but at least no traffic.

The UPS store was next to Publix, which had a long line of people 6' apart, but by the time I finished at UPS, there was no line. UPS, by the way, would allow only three people inside the store at once. By the way, if you need to go to a bank or something like UPS, call ahead of time because a lot of them are closed. For example, only two out of five Chase banks were open. They said they were rotating employees among the stores. In fact, a ton of stores are closed. I wanted to go to Verizon to get new hotspot, but it was closed, and I had not called around, so just skipped it. And maybe half the restaurants and fast food places are closed. The ones that are open have signs on the door to call your order in and they would bring it to you. A few had order takers standing outside.

Publix had almost everything I needed in my fairly big order, but I have to say that it was the neatest grocery store I have ever seen! Obviously, there have not been a ton of people messing up the shelves because all products were lined up and neatly stacked. And there was someone wiping off the freezer and refrigerator cabinets. I'd say there was less stuff than usual, but it was adequate. For example, there were only a few packages of steaks and hamburger, but I got what I wanted. Just not a lot of selection. Anyway, I am good for at least a couple of weeks, other than needing some milk in a few days and maybe some eggs.

Tomorrow I drive to Lake City Camping World to get a new water pump installed. It is outside, so they don't have to come in my motorhome. I will let the toilet go or try to fix it myself because I don't want anyone inside.

I called direct tv on hold for 2 plus hours then talking with the person at the other end of the line another 30 or minutes... ended up going into town and talking with direct tv there they will send someone out to point and set up the tv hopefully since my son in law couldn't do it not sure that they isn't a problem but hopefully as I would really enjoy having tv for a few hours a night...
this morning I took Shadow out after he did his business I sat down on one of my chairs... and noticed butterflies a lot of them... many I don't know I've been where there as been that many at one time so pretty and so relaxing. it was just magical...
read a story in a Women's World one of those it did happen stories... made me think of Mitch and the lighting hitting her house... in this case the lightening hit guess it wasn't noticeable till days later when the house burned down thankfully they got out had smelled wood burning but thought it was the neighbors burning something ....it was believed that the lightening started a small fire that smoldered for days till it burned down the house...
so tomorrow I hope to do what I didn't today... although while on the phone (it was on speaker but am always afraid to get to far from it) I folded some clothes trimmed the fringe on the afghan and stacked up some magazines need to figure out how to take out the recipes and organize them that I want
when this all ends as well as I procrastinate I will still need to do all that I need to do now

Sheila, the butterflies you are seeing are called Painted Ladies. They are on their annual migration north. We have a lot of them moving thru here as well. It is fun to watch them flutter on by!
