Morning from the trying to be sunny 45th. Thanks for all the well wishes and concerns. I’m continuing to do better as each day pssses. Actually slept in my bed last night. Put my back brace on and that helped greatly. Moving around bit more easier. Heading for a nice warm shower in awhile. Actually, no I didn’t get any information on the lady. I guess we were so wrapped up n the moment, that neither of us thought of it. Not good I know, but the way it is. Will act on this tomorrow and go see chiropractor first. Need to get some more Sombra that she sells. Fantastic cream for aches and pains. . Goes on cold but then turns warm and no odor, so you don’t smell last me deep heat rub I’m about out right now.

See on the news that tbe virus is really spreading. Not here in MI yet, at least of last night, but I expect it any time. Getting crazy hearing about people stocking up on enough stuff to fill a bomb shelter Then the rest of us have to get it while we can in self defense. We do need to be prepared, but don’t need to go overboard. I plan to stop at the store tomorrow and pick up a few things. Definitely need some perishables. I normally don’t buy canned veggies and such, prefer to use frozen, but will buy some. Can always donate to the food pantry later. Haven’t noticed any big rushes for stuff up here, other than hand sanitizer and alcohol. No, not the kind you drink, but maybe some of that too . Probably due in part to being not so populated like the big cities.

Sheila, bet it feels good to have everything working again. No more messing with coolers etc. Barbie, you will have fun with your gourd projects. Ann, safe travels home.

Good morning all! Hard to believe but this is the second day in a row with sun. Temps for daytime warmer now but nights still cold. Last Thursday was nice so I took quick trip down to Bedford area. Amazing that going south just an hour away can make a difference in spring showing. I even saw some spring flowers starting to bloom! I visited with a friend who has been having some health problems. He’ll be 85 soon. I was thinking on my way home how many years we’ve known each other. Almost 48 years since we met in Holland. More family then friends.
I had something funny happen last night. A friend of mine stopped and ask me if I wanted to go to dinner with them right then! I hadn’t started anything yet so said yes. We went to a place they’ve talked about for quite some time. The funny part was that as we left and walking back to the car we heard someone holler Mom. Since we were on the sidewalk with no other people we turned around and it was my oldest son. This place is about 10-12 miles the opposite direction from my house and way out of the way for him! Still don’t know how they knew about this restaurant! But what are the chances? He had tried to call me but with the noise level I never heard my phone. Gee, two dinner invites in one evening!
Judy, my heart goes out to you with what you’re going through. Take care of you too. I’m glad they finally got your uncle in hospice. Sue, please get checked out. I had a friend who took a fall, had very little pain but actually broke her hip. You have already gotten some good advice so I won’t repeat it. Shelia, sounds like you’re getting things together and done. I have a long list too and items have been there for a long time! Hope you all have a great day and enjoy it. I’m off to get to a couple of things done on my list now!

I woke up with a headache and finally got up and took some aspirin. My nose is still running but not as much as yesterday. I would like to go to the Shoe Station(like I need more shoes). Guess I'll keep my germs at home.

I took the pruning shears with me when I went to feed the outside cats and cut some of the rose bushes. That should have been done last month. One of the bushes is taking over the satellite dish. I need to get some more mulch and get it put on before the grass and weeds take over. I have some fertilizer for the roses somewhere.

Good Morning, my list is very small and contained. Watch basketball then softball on TV!
Light rain this morning, now sun is coming out. We have a few Red Bud trees around my neighborhood. They are blossoming out now. I think they are such a beautiful color!
I had always seen them in colder climates, and was surprised to see them in San Diego.
Carol, how time flies....you are all ready heading home!

Martha, I woke up to a pounding head, also. I'm blaming the weather/barometric pressure change here. I took Tylenol and went back to bed. My atomic clock changed so had to set it to Pacific time until I leave Arizona. Now it's heading to 11 without a time change and Ty hasn't been out yet. He's so dang good about it.

I have a mobile rv tech coming out tomorrow. My furnace acted up again the other morning and now I know the thermostat is a problem, as it no longer registers that I'm changing the temp (The little click sound it has is gone.) and that means the a.c. won't come on now either. He'll have a new thermostat with him and hopefully that'll be all that's needed.

Sue, I agree that you should get checked with some x-rays before you go to a chiropractor. Any manipulation can be dangerous if you have a broken of even cracked bone.

I helped a lady out last night just before dark. She was driving an older, big diesel A and towing a car, but because they do not have any pull-throughs in this campground, she cut between other sites on the opposite side of the loop and across the grass to enter her site from the back! Plus, she then could not figure out how to open the electric pedestal, so I had to show her how it was latched on the underside and she had to push it in to lift the lid. And by then it was getting dark and she asked if I knew how to fix her inverter (I think she meant converter). She thought it was broken because she had no lights inside and nothing was working. I reached in from the outside and pushed the battery switch on her control panel and the lights all came on. The strange thing is she said she had had her rig for a year. Must have been staying at only one or two places because she clearly does not know how to manage things. Hope she does OK when she leaves. She was not sure where she was going, either.

I have arranged for someone to take my aunt to the hospice today. Also, I have been panicking about getting the call in the middle of the night and having to drive 2-3 hours to pick up my aunt and take her to the hospice before they came to collect the body. Her regular private caretaker is taking today off, so I called the owner of the company he works for, and he will personally take her today and be available in the middle of the night if needed. (Hospice suggested I needed to bring my aunt over as soon as he died so she could see him before the cremation people picked him up. I really do not want to go into the room as I prefer to remember him as he was, not dead and grey.)

Lyn, I use to see Red Bud trees in the woods in East Texas and thought they were so pretty. I tried to plant one here but it died. We use to see Dog Wood trees blooming all over but not so much anymore. I don't know if people dig them up. I haven't been to Texas to see the Blue Bonnets in a few years. I use to go every few years just to see the Blue Bonnets. That has gotten to be so popular that it's hard to get a campsite.

Judy, my chiropractors office has ex ray equipment. She did one on me for something last year I think it was. She won’t do anything till she sees what’s up and if she prefers me to go to my NP first, I will do so. But she is my first go to person for anything in my physical body. I’ve Learned over the years, when it comes to aches, pains or whatever in our bodies, that going to the MD or DO will result in, take two aspirin or a pain prescription and call me if it doesn’t go away on it’s own instead of getting down to the root of the problem or unless it’s very serious. Plus my chiropractor does not use a hands on approach. She uses an activator tool, an bstrument that delivers a little thrust straight to the given area and doesn’t affect anything around it. Feels like a hammer tap for want of better description. Comfortable, painless and done in no time.

Got up early to go to the pancake breakfast with my neighbors. Pancakes and eggs were excellent! Came back and cleaned up the house. Stopped to visit the lady down the street who does gourd art. We had a nice chat. I will bring my gourds over maybe tomorrow to see what she thinks of them and give me some ideas. She really knows her stuff!

Has been a beautiful day with a light breeze and sunny all day. However, the wind just picked up again and is really blowing out there. Another windy night! I picked up some palm fronds this morning and I think I can use one or two with the gourds. I need to spray them with something first tho to protect them.

Lola is having a down day today. Just not peppy and looking a little scruffy. She usually bounces back after a day or two. I know I have days like that too! Will keep a close eye on her.

Lyn, there is supposed to be heavy rain coming in with this next storm system. We already have a flash flood watch here for Tuesday thru Thursday.

The valley here got it's first case of Corona virus yesterday. I read that ferrets can get the virus too, so am wondering if cats and dogs are susceptible as well. Altho ferrets are more likely to share human illnesses, than other animals are.

More things on my to-do list for tomorrow... Have a good night!

my phone was on automatic time change it thought time changed so it did in AZ it doesn't but all the sudden we are the same time as the Pacific time zone... so confusing so set the alarm get up go to church at what I thought was about 8:48 nope it wasn't not a car in the parking lot so changed my phone to reflect the right time go back home play on FB for a bit and back to church took a nice long nap after church... so far the fridge is still operating still have some stuff in the cooler besides a ton of water hopefully still has ice should have but it's been warmer and I didn't empty the water like I normally do so should take out of it the things that I will worry about ... I think if I understood correctly that I made the better choice in getting mine repaired as opposed to getting a new one. I think this cooler is Amish made but not totally sure although it does come from Shipshewana.
made a salad for tomorrow so need while everything is out of the kitchen mop the floor perhaps even wax it...
but that requires work we will see so far my main thing I think will be doing the dishes I cooked supper and made the salad for the signals tomorrow. what else I do is unknown at this moment
