IT’S WEDNESDAY FOLKS

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

IT’S WEDNESDAY FOLKS

Good morning, planning on going into the swim pool in a little while. Giving the sun a chance to warm up the air a little.
Sue, when I did the sled ride in Alaska, the thing that amazed me the most was how fast the dogs started. We had hardly gotten seated when BOOM, they were off and running.
My daughterhter is home from the hospital now. Doing well. Lots of good help around for her.
I did 30 min on the treadmill yesterday!
Today is my younger son’s birthday. My baby is 61!

I'm watching the rain on the radar. It's still North of I-10 but suppose to get here tonight and tomorrow. The guy that is going to fix the old carport and barn damage called and said they were coming tomorrow. I wanted to ask him if he has been watching the weather report but didn't. Four out of nine of the poles on the carport are completely rusted out at the bottom. It's a wonder that it didn't go for the last hurricane. The battery on the Mazda is dead so charging it up so I can move it. The motorhome is still in the front yard so I'll just leave it there until they get through.

I got out a mystery meal for lunch. Turned out to be chicken stew. One of these days I'm going to get through all the stuff in the freezer that isn't labeled.

All the rain that has been going across the state is filling up the lake where my sister and I like to go. We might be able to go fishing this year. All the rivers I crossed coming back from Florida were out of their banks. There is flooding in Mississippi and if it keeps raining it's going to be flooding near Slidell.

I wanted to go see about my tablet but guess I'll have to wait until Friday.

I was up again until past 3 am trying to get last of papers graded. The problem is that I have been spending hours and hours each day dealing with medical issues and things like arranging wheelchair transportation to doctors appts for my uncle. Also getting updates and sending consent forms for things like PT and such. Also, paid some bills and contacted State Farm agent to pay for my long-term care policy. I usually pay online quarterly, but system keeps telling me I have no payments due, while sending me notices of overdue payments!!! And it won't let me pay early, so I don't what is going on with the system. Between this and the memory care home people, I am beginning to think the whole world is filled with insanity!

I did sleep in until 10:30 am; however, so that helped me feel better. Still not caught up, but am working on it. I did a little sorting and putting away of stuff today, and took the trash out, including my large collection of plastic bottles because last two campgrounds did not have recycling. That cleared up a lot of space in one of my basement storage areas.

My rig is really neglected in terms of getting the dust out of everything. I wish I could call someone in to vacuum my fuzzy ceiling, scrub my floors, and wipe down all my cabinets and wash the walls to get the dust off. Seriously. Both my son's families have someone in to clean, so why not me???? And where does all the dust come from in these places??? I don't leave windows open, but everything gets covered with dust regardless. :?

Also, my 20-year-old leather Laz-y-boy got a small tear on the arm yesterday, which means I literally wore through the leather. Got body tape on it now, but I really need a new one, so might go out tomorrow and see what I can find on sale and that will fit.

Ty and I made it back to the local dog park today. There were people and dogs there today. He had a ball. Someone even had a Jack Russell. Hopefully this romp will hold him through tomorrow because I'll be out exploring most of the day without him. (I know, I'm dreaming. I'll try very hard to get up extra early just to give him a good walk to start the day).

Judy, I'm glad you're starting to get caught up. My rv needs a good cleaning, too. It seems like it always needs one!

People just parked closer than necessary to me. There's a section with nobody parked and this rig chose to pull in between me and another rig that were spaced as close as I think necessary unless there's no where else to park. I don't think some people have a clue that most boondockers don't want neighbors so close. I'm fine as long as they don't start a generator overnight.

speaking of generator's mine is running for the moment!!! I took it back yesterday and my friends came out today to hook it up... so here is hoping...
even though I've not been on very often life has been going on... will be going to my sister's for a week Shadow has a vet appointment on the 28 my niece is coming in for a couple of day literally and she wants to paint the living room so guess I will be boxing up stuff so the furniture came be moved..doesn't sound like much of a vacation  don't see my niece very often so this will be nice... might see if the generator is working if my friends can come out and change the oil (it needs it after a couple hours of running) and run it some... but maybe not actually since I will have ran it a couple of hours tonight it will need changed tomorrow.. got my truck greased and oil changed ouch!!! plus the brakes done est was 250 came to 422 I think i grouched they gave me the oil at their cost...I still think that was high... keep thinking I am going to see what a gal of diesel oil cost at a store like NAPA or the like they put in 12 quarts sounds like 3 gals to me...
and the brake light is still on... they thought because the lamp light signal was on and that it indicated a brake light.. so that is fixed but the brake light is still on.. might go to some place and have them do the whatever to see why it's on.... but going to Vegas on Sat so it might be on the way through Parker as there isn't any place here in Q to have it done.
hopefully all the issues are over come hives cramps ect... Judy hope you are able to get all the concerns addressed
