Sun is out here!

Good Morning, I am watching the big softball tournament being held in Clearwater, Fl right now. Most of the games are on ESPN3, which I cannot get. However, the rest are on channels I do see, so I am in 7th heaven! So many snow birds in Fl right now, all the games are sold out. Beautiful pictures of Clearwater.
Barbie, what a horrible way to begin the day. Also, that was sad about the baby. I am so glad she gave the baby a name. That is very important for any pregnancy!
The docs treating my daughter think she does not have an infection in here stump. Just a bad bruise where she fell several days ago. Now that is very good news!
I had a good class at lung rehab yesterday! Did 25 min on treadmill.

Yesterday was my second exhausting day in a row, but I am taking the weekend and probably Monday off. "Off" of course, means catching up on grading papers and housework. Yesterday, after driving two hours to get to Venice, I spent two hours in bank setting up special checking accounts for their Social Security checks to get deposited to meet federal law. Then I found out they had just delivered my uncle into the memory care facility, so I figured I had better give them a half hour to get things settles, so picked up a bunch of ensure for him and other things for my aunt. Anyway, he still looks awful (5'10" and 125 pounds) and is even more incoherent than he was. They had him in a wheel chair and I was told he needs a different kind, so PT is coming Tuesday to determine what he needs. The facility keeps telling me they can take care of him, so I told the head nurse that this was her opportunity to prove it.

I only visited for about an hour, so stopped and did three huge loads of laundry on the way home. Got home at 8 pm, second night in row. Collapsed and grabbed leftover chicken. Even got to bed early.

So this morning, I slept in until 11 am and spent hour-and-half changing bed and sheets and cleaning up and putting away all the junk I have strewn around. Place finally looks back to half-way neat, and just ate breakfast at 1 pm. Got to take out trash, but am going to stay indoors rest of day. Weather is gorgeous, 78 degrees and breezy, but I am too tired to move, but I got a lot done yesterday and this morning. Now to catch up on grading papers from my class.

Lyn, I hope the doctor is right! That's very good news for your daughter! And Barbie, how sad. Life is already so short.

I've changed my mind half a dozen times on what to do today. Being the weekend I've decided against a few places I figure will be packed with families. I might just relax. Ty and I met a lovely man on our walk this morning. He and his wife got to Gilbert Ray yesterday morning and discovered the new reservation system. They are sad, too. They did get a reservation starting Monday there. Between that and the casino that discontinued boondocking by putting in an expensive paved parking lot with hookups, the BLM land has more people than usual... And the BLM added a new section, which is where I'm parked this time.

Judy, I'm exhausted just thinking about your last couple days. Please make sure you're taking time for you.

doing some quick computer time trying to get all caught up for a few moments... Had hoped to take the generator back today but decided the brakes needed to be fixed first have that scheduled for Monday. Then plan on Tuesday taking it up hopefully there will be some on the shelf and hopefully it will work... writing a letter in my mind to email to the company... I even asked Terry if there was anything on my end that could be causing all this he said no!! didn't think so but felt I should ask... I'd like a scribe right no who could write the letter for me... not a good communicator...
my daughter and I were texting back and forth last night she is of the opinion that I should set it up so that I will know if it works... while in the parking lot... first off I wouldn't know how to hook it up the battery that is.... putting oil and gas in it yet I could do so... but what good would it do the last one started and ran for about a two hour span over a couple of days then quit so what good would it do??? I laughed when she said in reply to my comment about the battery for the generator... just hook it up to the truck battery sure the one in the generator is so much smaller I can't imagine that it would work and the logistics of it ...oh well my youngest seems to be not talking to me right now she normally calls daily or close to it haven't heard from her for a week called this morning no answer... think she is frustrated with me and my lack of I am not sure what... I did ask at a place in town if they fixed Predators he said they can't get parts... I'd just like to have it fixed... oh well as to getting my money back I would say I doubt it but if this one doesn't work there will be a letter to corporate.
going in to get a shower in a few grocery's and ice and perhaps a walk through the remaining vendors
