relaxing Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

relaxing Sunday

Good morning gals! It is afternoon already for some of you.

Been watching church services on You Tube at my church. (I missed last weeks). There is a class there this afternoon that I want to go to so will get up and ready for that soon. Kind of a treasure mapping type class.

I found a wrist brace last night that fits on my right wrist (I have a whole box of various braces! ) so I wore that to bed last night and so far I have no more pain.

Need to get unpacked today too and make a trip to Walmart on the way back from church. Otherwise I plan to keep things simple today. No big long intimidating list of things to do.

Have a good day! :D

Afternoon! Brenda had a problem with her lights when hooking up her car today. Her text to me suggested I test everything before the show ends this afternoon since I got the new Roadmaster braking system installed. So I moved my rig to park where I could hook up and everything is fine here. But I'm glad I checked. I would have hated having a problem and they were gone. I texted her back but no response, so I'm guessing (hoping) her problem was an easy fix and she got on the road pretty quickly.

My only plans today are to go through a bunch of paperwork, etc, sitting around. I'm hoping I can toss much of it.

It's another beautiful day. And we had another beautiful sunset last night while sitting outside eating our dinner.

It rained all night and all morning. It looks like we got another inch and a half of rain. Just what we need. The rain is headed East so look out Florida.

Not doing much today. I cooked a chicken thigh in the air fryer. I am really liking it. I might take some steak out for tonight.

Yesterday I had to shut Sugar up because she wanted to attack the weed eater. I would like to run the Roomba but I'm afraid she might attack it.

Good Morning, been watching a good basketball game on TV. In a little while Benji and I will be leaving for the organ concert up in Balboa Park. Driving the scooter there.
Barbie, isn’t it fun finding something that has been lost!
Judy, nice sense of humor! I have to think and count when doing purse breathing. It is not easy!

Yes, you are right Varbie, it is afternoon here. Late afternoon actually. But my day has been busy with church this morning, followed by a trip to Walmart, then a stop at Big Boy for breakfast. A bit off my diet routine but the majority was protein stuff like eggs, bacon, sausage. I did have a couple small waffles though. They have a really nice breakfast buffet. Always people waiting to get in on Sunday mornings. But tomorrow will be back on track. Like Karen and her pizza night. Then headed to another grocery store and on home.

Just came back in from the daily dog walk. It’s windy out and the wind is cold but the temp is just above freezing. It’s been a mix of rain/snow on and off all day. I didn’t know which way or how far we were going to walk today till we start out. Headed out of the drive and around the corner to the entrance road. Molly stopped, looked toward the main highway, then toward the other subdivision road and after a minute, decided this as going to be a walk through the neighborhood day. Guess none of us were in mood for a little Nigeria one. Did that yesterday. Then I took the shovel and cleaned he frozen slushy stuff off the deck since it was softening up, after we got back. So that is the extent of my work for today. But I got my exercise in. Guess we are all kids Nd of laid back today. And they are having their afternoon nap now.

Been monitoring campsites at one of my favorite parks as need to reserve this coming week. Meeting my friends and their friends who are putting on a concert at the park end of July. So we want to book our sites before they are gone. Would love to take a couple day trip out to Isle Royal National Park too, but no place to put the dogs while I am gone. There are kennels here, but they have never been kenneled before, much less been away from me before either. My cousin by marriage would take them, but August is when I’m thinking, and that’s when her kids come up and they have dogs too. So not good timing there. Will see if something turns up. If not, so be it.

So, that’s what’s going on here at the 45th today. See ya all later.

Made it back safe and sound after a rocky start this morning. Part of the glitch was operator error and part was the part that the Roadmster tech installed. All is working properly now.
My poor little Joey is having doggie withdrawal. He had a fabulous week playing with all the other doggies while I visited with everyone.

The class I went to was interesting. The teacher I am pretty sure, is trans and gay. She looks very masculine and is married to a woman. Not sure how all that works, but to each their own. :) She was funny and a good speaker. Interestingly, we had to pair up for an exercise and the lady I was paired up with was there with her sister, who is a gourd artist. So I chatted with the sister later. Also got another name of someone else who is a gourd artist and also a member of the church.

Not much else going on. My other wrist hurts tonight so have my brace on that one now. May have to get another brace in case I need to wear them both at the same time! The news out here is totally all about Kobe Bryant being killed in the helicopter crash this morning in LA.

I will be bringing my car in to the shop in the morning to get the wheel noise checked out and fixed. Then call the golf cart guy. Have several people at the park here who want haircuts too.

Off to bed now...
