When I stayed there, I got the SS Minnow room. They have mobile homes divided into two separate rooms and each is named after a famous boat or ship. Only one real "yacht" there and Sandi got lucky with that!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I just realized tonight why my reservation disappeared into some black abyss. When I was walking around the motel grounds with the pups tonight, I recalled my reservation was for unit #106. When I walked by #106 I saw its name - “SS Titanic!” (queue the eerie music): Dum, Dum, DUM!

Wow, what a great “motel”. Glad it worked out so well. Makes you wonder how that place stays in business with all their disorganization. Glad you are enjoying it.

I thought I would add what I hope is closing out this portion of my trip to Quartzsite with what I hope is good news. For the last three weeks I’ve been watching my credit card online and seeing a pending transaction for the Yacht Club Motel in Quartzsite. Since the statement is closing today I thought I’d check again. It has now disappeared and I haven’t been charged for my three-night stay. That would be really nice if they did decide to make up for the problems and stress they caused. Or maybe it’s just indicative of how unorganized they are. Hopefully the charge won’t show up next month.

Well, unfortunately no bonus for me as you suggested Barbie. The charge for my stay at the Yacht Club Motel finally showed up a month late on my credit card. Would have been nice, but at least I had a decent place to stay in Q for the GTG and quite a story to tell.
