Good morning Anne. The sun is out here now after a foggy start. The wind is picking up tho and the temp was 24°we have warmed up to a balmy 30° ha ha Had breakfast and thinking about getting in the shower. Going out for lunch today with a neighbor so should be fun. Mexican food here we come.

Made camping reservations with a group I camped with last year. Going to Joseph H Stewart state park. Really nice campground so looking forward to my July outing. Just going for 3 days but should be fun. Hope to get out before that of course but no reservations other than those made for now.

Good morning Anne and Karen! Either the rest are sleeping in or having way too much fun, and of course hope everyone is ok. A chilly start here near freezing. Waiting on pest guy to come make rounds. Gotta call Heat/AC people, who were here a month or so ago as I finally spotted the thermostat problem, while watching it change itself! I kept finding it set higher than we like and setting it back thinking either Chris or I must have forgotten we changed it and was standing there staring at it, having set it back to 74 Again, when it blinked and set itself back to a higher setting. No wonder it keeps running too much overnight! Ugh, hope it's not a expensive replacement as its a special programmable for this particular geo thermal heat pump.
Sometime here I need to head to Curves. Yesterday's eye appointment showed eyes healing well, but the left IOL settled back in the lens capsule a tiny bit further than anticipated making it slightly out of focus. Will recheck in 3 mo then consider removing and replacing IOL. Not what I planned for but I knew going in that my left eye presented challenges.
No camping plans specifically yet, until the eye stuff and VA and a few medical things for Chris settle out. Hope I can get a few short trips in this year.
Have a good day everyone.

I confess to sleeping in and then putting around for a while after I got up. I was up late trying to plan my drive from Michigan to Theodore Roosevelt National Park to Idaho to meet my kids there. Long distances and not always availability, but will try to finish tonight.

Also keeping me up was the fact that my water pump stopped working, so no shower. I could have gotten dressed again and gone out in the middle of the night and braved the mosquitoes, but decided I would wait until tomorrow. Still have not solved the problem, but I did have some emergency water in a container, so was able to wash up without going outside. Am going to try a local mobile RV repairman instead of trying to get into a regular repair place. I can hook up my hose for next few days, but as of Tuesday night will be somewhere without water hookups at sites, so really need that water pump!!!

Judy, I don't know what goes on with you and water pumps! You have terrible troubles with them.

Morning all. I didn't hurry out of bed, and then Ty and I took an extra long walk. My laundry is in the car and will head to town shortly to run errands including doing that. Tomorrow I'll take the rv out to be dumped. I don't want to have to do that next week. This afternoon I'll try to remember to put my new tags on my license plates.

I'm not sure if it's the stupidity of the town of Quartzsite or the state or a combination, but there will be road work for 5 days... Along the main road past where the show is held... Down to one lane... During the show! Seriously?!

Have a great day!

Not much going on here. I finally got dressed and went and fed the outside cats. It's foggy and damp still. My shoes and the bottom of my pants legs are wet. Yesterday it got up to 81. The record high for today's date is 82 set in 1930. We might break that record today. I ate breakfast in shifts, coffee, cinnamon roll, orange juice and finally an egg. I brought a box of the mini cinnamon rolls at Sam's for the camping trip and came home with most of them. I put them in the freezer so they aren't so handy.

Judy, sorry you are having water pump problems again. I think in all the years that I have had motorhomes I have replaced one water pump.

I wish it would dry up so I could mow. The grass isn't growing but the weeds are.

I think my project for today is to clean out under my desk. Things fall out the back of the center drawer and I have to get on my knees to reach it. Maybe the drawer needs to be cleaned out too.

went to Yuma yesterday and replaced the generator now to be patient till someone can come put it back and hook it up... he couldn't come today but when I've been this long without what is another 2-3 days??? Beth went with me was nice not to take that long drive by myself then we enjoyed lunch at Kneaders so enjoy their food...
have games this afternoon...
stayed in bed way too long it's cold so no desire to leave the warmth of the bed plus for some reason the internet seems better up there... now stuff to do till games... had to check the bank oops even though have a extended warranty had to purchase another one well actually didn't have to but given the need for the first one although in their defense had I gone earlier it would have been perhaps on the 90 day warranty.. but when I replaced the generator it's one replacement per warranty,,,, makes me wonder about the brand!!!
was told it was a good one...
so on to see what the gtg page says
you all take care

I wasn't sleeping in or having too much fun! I was off to work early this morning. Was a pretty steady day. Then when I was starting my last haircut, my manager and one of my male co-workers were in the back room having a very loud nasty fight. She wrote him up for having too many re-does and he got really defensive about it. It got really uncomfortable for me and I am sure for my young customer. They were just screaming at each other for about 15 minutes! I was trying to cut fast and get the haircut done but the kids mom wanted it shorter, etc. I apologized to the kid and to the mom for the arguing in back. By the time I checked them out and got my self out of there, I was a nervous wreck! I don't deal well with loud voices, especially nasty arguments like that. I get very stressed and anxious. I am glad I don't go back now for 8 days! Too much drama lately! I believe I am now the only one there who has not been written up about something.

I have a whole list of stuff to do for the next couple days before leaving for Q. I might just go grocery shopping tonight and get that out of the way since that is a fun and relaxing thing for me. Or I might just stay here and drink! (Isn't that a country song?? Merle Haggard, I think!)

I got a flashlight with a black light on it. Thought it would be useful to see scorpions at night while in Q, (I don't care to step on any! )

Lola had a totally normal poop over night! :o I was so excited! Normal color, normal shape! Didn't even stink much! Yay!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
