Cloudy, Drizzly Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Cloudy, Drizzly Saturday

Rise and shine y’all. Another day is here. Course those farther west and on the left coast are still snuggled under the covers  Day hasn’t quite arrived yet. But the days are definitely getting longer slow but sure.

Bit of freezing drizzle out there this morning. Nothing to cause issues other than making the roads a tad slick. Seems to be a lot of this going on this winter so far. Used to be we were buried in snow this time of year.

One pound down for the year so far, so the scaling back and eating more protein, less carbs etc., is working :) Onward and downward. Daily walks help a lot too. Out with the sweets, breads, potatoes, pasta etc., not that I have been eating much pasta over the past year. Actually don’t even miss it. Karen, we will have to compare our progress as this winter goes on and anybody else who wants to join us. Make a little “diet club” so to speak.

Got everything accomplished yesterday and dresser was picked up. Managed to get a couple pages done in scrapbook but today will do more as nothing on my agenda other than the dog walk.

Barbie, hope you get your hitch issue straightened out. I’ve had issues that way too. If you go to Lowe’s, Home Depot or some other home improvement store, you can buy the socket size you need. You really should get one to keep with you as you never know when you might need it.

My mind is starting to think summer season. In a way, would love to go back to SD and base in Custer, hit some places within driving distance that I didn’t get to in first trip out there. But travel funds are a bit low, so will have to do some more thinking. There are some places in the U.P. I want to go back to too. Nice decisions to have to make, huh. Fun times.

Guess I’ll roll along here. Scrapbook isn’t going to get done by itself and it’s been sitting on part of my kitchen table way too long. Have a nice day everyone :)

Good morning. Kind of off and on rain here. Nothing heavy darn it. Oh well it is what it is. My project for today is cleaning the laundry room. I need to get rid of some bottles of cleaners, polish, etc in my cupboard and of course other stuff.

Pondering what my breakfast will be this morning, I am feeling hungry so like to eat before I am starved. Sue it is amazing how just cutting carbs and sugars can really help. I am down 4lbs but I started a little before Christmas so yes will be fun to compare our progress. Maybe give me more incentive to stay on track ha ha I got my new Fitbit set up so now can track my steps and exercise again. Exercise for me consists of a couple of things, Exercise = walking the dog or exercising my Visa Platinum LOL Think I will lose more pounds with the first option ha ha I dont have lots to lose but 15-18 pounds would be excellent. Still havent found my other Fitbit....might be gone forever oh well dont need two anyway hah If I do find it I can probably find someone that wants it.

OK breakfast time

Good Morning, nice, sunny, clear day here. Will be going into the pool a little later for my water jogging.
Barbie, Lily is a beautiful cat...have been enjoying the pictures you have posted!
CArol, so good to have heard from you on the first. And, you too Sharon. I’ve missed seeing your posts. I don’t do Facebook anymore.
Getting old is not fun. Health issues are changing several of us. Me not going to Quartzsite this year is a big one. Been going out there for 20 years. Selling my trailer is very difficult. Trying to give a positive thought. Not having to pay for gas to drive out there! Saving the monthly storage fee. Well, that’s two positive thoughts.
Decided to buy some tickets to the symphony as I can get there on my scooter. Seeing as I can’t make any plans to go camping, have to stay in town.

It's a nice sunny day in the mid 60's today. I might have to go fishing.

Lyn, I wish I had a place to do water exercises or just swim. After the campout I need to check the local gyms to see what exercise classes they have.

I baked 3 pounds of bacon this morning to take camping. I'm not ambitious enough to cook breakfast but I'll bring the bacon if someone wants to cook. We finally got an itinerary for the campout and it looks like there will be close to 40 women. Most from Texas. Since I have lived here for 45 years I don't know how much touring I'll be doing but I'm always game to eat out. lol

My "project" for today, was washing around door frames where Sean is about to install trim he has been staining. That done, I headed to see Linda McVey and Shelly in their new home. We had a nice visit and I gotta say I'm glad they decided not to move to Oregon! They have invited me to visit their RVW chapter for a get together, so I can see if I enjoy the group and want to join. So that will likely be the March event. Ive decided this year will be camping within California, unless something changes and I make a late summer trip to MN to Camp with son and family in MN. They have an Jayco fold down that he completely remodeled after getting it cheap. It would be great to have my own bed and yet camp, with my grandchildren!
It's been a cool day here with puddles from overnight rain.
