2020 Rabbits Rollcall

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It’s been ages since I’ve tried to post here, lost post last couple of tries, no idea why except signal. First day of a new year, new decade thought I’d try again. Many changes in my life, many not good just need to adjust to them. Some will know I’ve just sold my home so am homeless, ( no property to care for ). So am out in my RV again, and hope to visit around the state. Plans are my DD is selling her home and we will buy a home for her, pool and small residents away from house for me. We had a lovely place picked out bid put in and our realtor delayed just enough that someone got in before us and heirs accepted first offer. The property is in probate and not free to sell until after mid January so our fingers are crossed. Our bid was a wee higher, but heirs are sometimes too anxious.

My health and ability to get around as freely as I used too, has been curtailed by age and the fall in 2012 and then two stupid times I injured my back. Dr informed me the fall while I broke no bones did cause the likely hood of any wrong move would escalate the possibility of injuries. Part of my aging process, but I’m still enjoying my life a great deal. I love hearing of the travels and pics of those who are really out and about in our beautiful country.

I’ve made many very good lifelong friends on this forum and Sue wrote exactly what so many of us feel. Hopefully I can participate more often. I don’t have exciting happenings to offer but do enjoy reading of others here.

Happy New Year to all, wishing a healthy, much happiness and prosperity to all in 2020 !, now we have to remember to write the correct year (again) LOL!!!

Happy New Year everyone it's been awhile since I have been able to post also this is the second try for this post if I lose it I'm done I'm not going to try again tonight for some reason I find it difficult to post on the Forum
I too sometimes have been battling the health and aging problems that interrupts your life
Right now it's a back problem but it is getting better
I've been trying to make extra money so I have been doing an outdoor flea market and even though I downsized my tote boxes so I don't have to carry heavy totes it's not good for my Back & Body I'm still going to do the outdoor flea market but I am going to just sell my vintage jewelry that I have... it seems like I have a million pieces when I decided if I sell it all for $1 each I'll Be A Millionaire LOL
So in the meantime I was able to score some space in an indoor flea market here in Crystal River I'm hoping something can come of this Marketplace I'm going to give it six months and see what happens..
I haven't been camping in over a year except for August what I went to Pennsylvania to my granddaughter's wedding that wasn't really camping but I was able to meet O'Sharon for a few days as she lives not far from where I was in Pennsylvania and now that was camping and I thoroughly enjoyed it... I hope this year I can get back to doing that kind of camping again
Well hopefully I'll get back to you posting here more often...i post on Facebook and most of my post there revolve around the pictures I post and I still have not mastered posting pictures here anyway it was nice chatting in here again and everybody have a great New Year

Happy trails in 2020 travel pals. Not so much new here; went for a 1st day hike out to the far boundary of the ranch. But not so comfortably any more after so many lion sightings. A mouse has taken up residence under the hood of my minivan. YUK! Trying to discourage with rope lights. Fun to read the memories; it was 07 for me. WOW! And yes very grateful for the friends over the years. Til Feb 1st! :)

Off to bed soon. Good start to the new year. :D I got my bedding, towels and throw blankets all washed. Took down all my Christmas stuff and put away in bins and stored under the house. Repotted some flowers, and had Lily in the house with me for awhile tonight (Lola was in the bedroom). I have decided she is a Maine Coon based on the physical and personality descriptions I found on-line.

I have some things to do tomorrow before I head to work so hopefully I will be motivated to get that done too.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Son and I watched tv New Years Eve shows and toasted 2020 with sparkling cider. Spent New Years Day watching the Rose Paade twice using our Hulu live then the Rose Bowl Game. Go ducks. Have no real plans yet but considering a trip to see grand kids in MN. Depends on how all the house renovations go. Since we were talking at midnight, my saying rabbits might have been late, but I think 2020 will be a good year anyhow. Happy New Year everyone.

Happy 2020 to everyone.
I did remember to say Rabbits just after midnight. New Years Eve and Day were quiet ones. I am visiting family in Alberta. Later this morning I will be minding the grands, as daughter and son-in-law return to work. We will have what the girls like to call " Ladies Lunch". Tomorrow I fly back to Phoenix for the remainder of the winter. I will be joining the get together in Quartzsite mid-January. Looking forward to meeting "the western contingent" of this great group of ladies.
Whether your adventures be near to home or far away, may you always have great experiences.

Hi all,

I'm a day late, but wanted to chime in with the others - this is one incredible group of ladies whom I consider my friends.

We each have our own talents, gifts & insights which are generously shared. Strong, independent & super-smart each & every one of this sisterhood.

I am thankful for the founders of this group & eveyone who keeps it going.

Looking forward to all the adventures ahead.

Wishing everyone a happy & healthy 2020!
Take care,
Catherine

Ladies, it was so good to see your posts! I usually read but unless on laptop, I don't do posts of more than a few words. Certainly a lot of great memories and friendships here! The changes in our lives do come. I'm working on it!

I am in Salome, Arizona about 35 miles from Sheila. Unfortunately, I haven't seen her or Beth yet due to an issue with the Sling which will be repaired a week from today. I'll be ready to drive over for the Q gtg as well.

For anyone who followed my granddaughter's hospital stay a few months ago - she is doing well and is starting her senior year of college over this month. She has also signed up to sell her artwork independently online. When she has added more to her portfolio, I'll share. Now we can worry as my Air Force grandson is arriving in the Middle East today. What lousy timing - my daughter is beside herself.

Wishing you all the best in 2020.

Glad your granddaughter is doing better. Yes, bad timing for your grandson, but will keep him in my prayers to stay safe. Am looking forward to meeting you in Q.
