I swear I didn't see that new topic button before!!! oh my really need to get the eyes tested

Just found out this AM that one of the campground hosts had quit so to fill that spot they moved a couple from one campground to that one... and now they need to fill that position. This is a National forest campground and is located in Idaho about 22 miles south of West Yellowstone and north of St. Anthoney ID about the same amount. A beautiful area one that we just love and besides that we could gtg

Having been a Campground Host at a Forest Service Campground, this is what to watch out for. We had to wear our uniforms from 8.00am until we went to bed, 5 days a week. We couldn't go to bed before 10.00pm as we had to register guests and sell firewood and drive around our loop last thing at night making sure fires were out and it was quiet. We couldn't leave the Campground from Friday evening at 5.00pm until Monday morning at 6.00am, even if that included our days off. No cats allowed. When it was raining guests expected to come inside your rig to register, with a pitbull this was difficult.
Now you know why I didn't go back. Now not all campgrounds may be like this. Our boss was a very unpleasant man and nobody ever goes back there to work another season. They have had ads running in Workamper nearly every other day trying to find fresh blood.
Of course there were compensations. It was a lovely place on a Lake. Two days a week I sat by the Lake and sold Day Passes and read a book. And of course there were always those Naked Indians.

Sheila, what's the name of the CG you're at? My very best friend in the world (been best friends since the 6th grade and boy could she tell you some stories!! LOL!) is workcamping in that area on a lake. I'm not sure if it's a private or public place. Her name is Janice and her hubby's name is Dave. Wish I could remember the name of the place, but I can find out. You'd really like her!
