Good evening everyone & Merry Christmas!

Judy, you are a special person to do what you are doing for your aunt and uncle.

We took a stocking filled with "goodies" to one of our neighbors in the campground, and they were so surprised. We shared a mid afternoon lunch together and it was really good. It's almost time to get into the bedroom to get ready for another day.

Stay safe wherever you are!

Just got back from a wonderful dinner! Great food, great conversations, etc. I gave the floral arrangements away. One to my friend Candy and the other to the hostess of our table. I just don't have room for them here. Too much stuff all over, mostly Christmas stuff. That will all get put away on Friday.

Haven't seen Lily yet but the food was mostly gone when I got back so someone was here while I was gone.

Back to work in the morning.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Merry Christmas, my dear friends!

Spent the day at my son's house with DD, SIL & DIL's family. I'm exhausted. Did the majority of the cooking here & carted it over there. At least when I cook, I don't tend to eat that much since after smelling it all, I'm full before eating anything.

I'm off the next couple of days so will get my place back in order & prepare for the next outing. We're renting a cabin at Big Bear Lake the weekend after New Years. I don't look forward to the drive in the mountains to get there & back, but hopefully it will be a relaxing time to enjoy just being together.

Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas or at least survived it.
Take care,
Catherine

Thanks, Irmi, but it has been a lot harder than I expected. Trying my best, however. Just can’t take a lot of the insanity at once. The other niece will be here in maybe three weeks to try to get rid of some of the excess clothing that does not fit or is really old. Aunt keeps trying to organize stuff but making more of a mess. For example, by excess clothing I mean the 20 pairs of similar khaki pants uncle has. Some too big and others too long etc. Uncles legs are swollen so shoes did not fit so at least he now has two pairs of new shoes that fit and new socks that won’t cut circulation. Aunt will also have two new pairs of shoes, and I signed approval for podiatrist to cut overgrown toenails and remove painful corn.

Merry Christmas everyone. First joy of the day, a call from my MN son and chatting with him and both grandkids. Son and I had a fun day from opening stuff in stockings, preparing breakfast together, sitting by the tree taking urns opening g gifts, and watching our kitties pull stuff out of their stocking. Mandy carried her new mouse around for a while. Then they took turns diving into wrapping paper tunnels we fluffed up for them. Spent an hour facetiming with my sister in law, just shari f about lots of stuff. Her kitty, a Savannah cat like our two, which Joyce was the breeder, kept trying to find me behind Joyces phone as i called Nadia by name watching her. Later prime rib for dinner and a few episodes of a series we are watching. Tired and my eyes getti g tired of focuses, so time for bed. Onward to New Years Eve!

PS Not a drop of rain here, though I'm only 70 or so miles south of Anne who apparently got lots.
