Beki, good to see you speak up! I'm getting ready to go out so son can pick up a couple more stocking stuffers he wants. Tomorrow, hopefully, will be eye two of the cataract removal and lens replacement journey. So I'm not traveling at moment. Might in January, but likely not due to pending VA evaluations. But for sure starting spring I will be planning several trips in my class B! Maybe Oregon in June then who knows.

Beki if no one starting morning coffee is what gets you to post we might have to forget more often. Seriously, it's good to hear from you.

I loved about 45 miles today. So hard lol. Ty and I have been for a good walk, and we watched a couple that have no idea how to back a trailer. I wanted to offer to guide, but he was pretty cranky so Ty and I just got around them and kept going. I figured they'd both be better without any watchers.

I just had a late lunch and already I'm thinking dinner :D

I didn't get much done today. Got one Christmas card mailed. That's 2 down and about 4 or 5 to go. I really need to go shopping tomorrow and not wait until Saturday. The traffic is bad enough during the week.

I let the 2 kittens that went to the clinic stay in the house and Rascal is loving it. He took over one of the pet beds. The clinic had the nerve to call him chunky. lol There are a few of my cats that are chunky and me too. Cats are like people, some stay slim and others are more interested in eating.

At the last campout a friend was backing her trailer in and a guy that works for the campground rolls up in his golf cart. He starts telling her what to do. She didn't tell him anything but I was thinking buddy she would be better off without your help. I just want someone to keep me from backing into something. Not be telling me to turn my wheel this way or that way.

Has been a busy day for me, and expensive!

Hitched up the trailer this morning and took her to get new tires ($$) put on, then back to the storage lot. Then got my car smogged ($$) and got the registration ($$) taken care of. Then stopped at Home Depot and bought a propane tank ($$) and will get that filled and put on the trailer. Then ordered a battery ($$) for it. I had the tire place test the battery on there and, as I expected, it is toast. Did a little shopping ($$) and now home! Whew! My credit and debit cards are still smokin'!

Haven't gotten anything done at home yet but will work on some stuff tonight. Mostly Christmas cards, etc.

Tomorrow night is the candlelight service at my church, after work. There is a candlelight service here at the clubhouse on Christmas Eve I might go to as well.

I really miss having a stocking to open up on Christmas morning, so I decided to make one for myself! With my poor short-term memory, I won't remember what I put in it by next week anyways so it will be a fun surprise when I go thru it! I picked up some little things for it today.

I have been looking for a nice Christmas top to wear for the party but just can't find anything I like. I do have a red top already (bought in Q a few years ago at the flea market!) that I can wear and should be good enough. I can dress it up with nice jewelry I have.

Have a good evening!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I completed the drive down I-75 from Ohio and the dogs and I are all tucked in at the campground at Liz and Bob’s place. Their house is around the corner but right across the street from me is a nice little house with little red car parked in the driveway. Birdie! Liz fixed dinner for us tonight and we went to games night. Hiking is scheduled for tomorrow. Fewer layers needed here.

not sure what I did as I look and it doesn't look like much moved some stuff from the entry into the spare room so that my sister's wheel chair and walker can get through easier. there was some heavier more awkward items so was waiting to see if a plea for help on a FB page would pan out.. when at the door comes a knock a couple young men from church who felt they should stop by... love those feelings and the ones that act upon it.. so they move the items and tomorrow I need to sweep the floor when I was moving stuff came out of the bedroom and my flip flops caught on the carpet and down I went going to feel it I am sure.. and in some ways do...
made goulash for supper tasted pretty good second night in a row that nephew said something tasted good well perhaps not in a row... but for the meals I've fixed.
so on a Walker fix remember this one...
saw a video last night that was sure inspiring ... it was of this young man who was in an accident and his back was damaged so he is in a wheelchair...and skiing not sure what the name of the ski is but he is going down the mountains and taking these incredible jumps...
amazing sometimes what one can over come and persevere on.
good luck with your surgery Velda..
sounds like a expensive day in your world Barbie... those happen... did you only get one battery?
that is neat that Tina that you are down visiting with Liz and Birdie have a fun time
have a lot to do tomorrow to be able to leave on Sat... feeling guilty doing so but I need to be on my way or at least I think I do... when I am here my nephew does less than he does when I am not here... so he doesn't want to empty the commode bucket... he will either have to or she will have more of an insinuative to be up more... I get that it hurts but some times we have just got to do it.. even to my ears that sounds harsh..
