Get Going Wednesday!

Got to get a haircut today and then heading over to visit with my aunt and uncle in memory care. Am bringing some goodies for them, as well as their bulletin board from their old home, which is filled with photos!! Hope that makes them happy.

It rained overnight and cooled off, so no longer hot and muggy. It is now cool and muggy.

I got the two kittens delivered to the spay and neuter clinic. They are 2 of the kittens the last cat that was dropped off here had. The mother has already been to the clinic. There are two more that need to go but 2 carriers are all I can handle. They usually have about 25 people dropping off cats and dogs so it's a mad house. I had set my alarm for 5:30, woke up at 4:00 and of course couldn't go back to sleep. I have to pick them up at 4:00 this afternoon.

It only got down to 36 this morning so not as cold as predicted. At least the sun is out today so now it's 52.

We had rain overnight and cloudy now. My surgery is on for 8:15 Friday . Has to get a different friend to take me because of date change. I'll be glad when it's safely over. I'm heading to Curves then continue package wrapping and other projects.

Good afternoon. Ty and I hiked the Clay Mine trail this morning. And met a lovely woman with her dog that I hope joins the forum. She just bought her rv on Thursday! Then a man with his dog joined us. All three dogs were so happy to meet.

We had a corporate lady come in today to check on us. She observed us while we had customers in our chairs. I tried to remember all the things they expect us to do and say. I had a good customer and it went well. She was impressed with me! The manager and owner were there as well and I think they were both happy with how I did. The shop as a whole got high points!

One of my co-workers was on Iron Chef last weekend. He isn't allowed to tell anyone how he did but he seemed pretty happy. The show won't air until the end of April so we have to wait until then to find out for sure. The winner gets $100K!

I left at noon and made some stops to look for more decorations for the dinner. Finally found a place to buy the flowers I want for the centerpiece. Have a few more things to get and I should be set with that. Will go back for the flowers on Sunday.

Tomorrow I take the trailer in for her tires. Will be happy to get that done. May also stop and get a propane tank as well.

It was 36* degrees this morning when I left for work! I just had a light sweater on which wasn't really enough for that temperature! Barely 60* for a high today. They are predicting rain from Sunday thru Wednesday next week, with snow in the mountains over Christmas. We need the rain/snow but not on the holidays!

Got a $20 tip and several $10 tips today which was very nice, especially since it wasn't very busy and I only did about 5 haircuts.

I did it!!! got the table cleaned off!!! yea me dishes into the dishwasher and on but the delivery late last night didn't bring the dish soup... probably will have to go get some tomorrow unless it magically comes... I would have complained but sister says no proof that it wasn't delivered I personally would have still complained... didn't get everything done that I intended to do but can look and it feels like I got something done...
so that was my day oh yess did a load of laundry still need to fold it but will do that soon...
tomorrow vacuum and move some stuff in the hall so it's easier for the wheelchair or walker to go down...
that has been my day
