Velda, I realize there’s snow in Tehachapi now. I just told you my past experience and suggested you check road conditions when the time to go gets closer. I don’t think you should cancel your plans for Q because there’s snow there now. Make plans to go and if conditions closer to when you would leave are such that you’re not comfortable, cancel then.

Just wondering who all is planning to be at Q and when?

I plan to be there around the 16th to the 23rd, give or take a day or two.

I'm still not sure. Between adapting to new IOLs- yes there is a big brain adaptation with these type trifocals IOLs, and pending 2 appointments on unknown dates for VA disability, I'm just going to have to wait and see.

I'll probably be there a month or even longer this year, so all those dates plus more on both ends.

What about Anita, Beth? I got the impression she’s coming but don’t know where I got that.

Thanks, Anita, yes, Chris told me she'd see me this winter, I didn't know it would be in Q. I'll add you to my post with the list.

Considering all the stress I have been experiencing lately, I have decided to forego the generator and not boondock this year. I called around to lots of campgrounds and finally found one that had a site open due to a cancellation, so I will be staying there for 4 nights. It is called Park Place, near the bookstore. I will be there from the 19th thru the 23rd. I felt a huge weight lifted off me when I got that reservation, so I know it was really stressing me out. I will have full hookups so I won't have to worry about anything and will still be close to the rest of you. Just gotta do what I gotta do. :D

Looking forward to seeing you all! We will have to plan another birthday party!
