People Training Dogs

Postby SoCalGalcas » Tue Dec 03, 2019 10:53 am

And, Dogs Training People...I just finished a very interesting book, “Where The Lost Dogs Go” by Susannah Charleson. Susannah trained a Golden Retriever as a search and rescue dog. The info about finding lost dogs is very valuable.
The. Susannah got a small dog that she is training to find lost pets. Both cats ,dogs and anything else in the way of family pets.
Both types of search and rescue for humans and pets are quire different.
As I got to be a human lost volunteer for the search ad rescue here in San Diego, I am very interested in the subject.

I am curious! Tell us more...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
