Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Hope everyone had plenty to eat & lots to be thankful for.

I took the turkey, dressing, green beans & gravy for dinner at son & DIL's house. The baby was the highlight of the day. I spent my time with Olivia. She's rather OCD (makes her own bed each morning & likes her room rather orderly) Some of the family ended up hanging out in her room, visiting on her bed & messing it up, she was heartbroken so I rocked her in the baby's room & we talked about it. She'll forever be my special little girl.

The kids from San Diego will come up tomorrow night (Friday) so we'll have another feast of mostly leftovers while they get to meet the baby on Saturday.

I look forward to a free day tomorrow to straighten up my place a bit.

Hope everyone is safe, dry & warm.
take care,
Catherine

Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

We had a really wonderful Thanksgiving with friends of over 50 years!! It is so good to get together because it brings up so many memories. Great food, and I didn't have to worry about saving room for dessert, I put my favorite one on my plate to eat along with my meal. I wasn't taking any chances of being too full for homemade chocolate cheesecake!! We went to the neighbors house later in the evening for pie and wine! Everyone sent us home with leftovers!!

Someone gave them a BIG Poodle Christmas decoration that looks like Emma. (we were at her trainers home) and of course Emma was also invited. She is a lucky dog in that she has two homes and seems to love both.
