My casita

First a pic with my new to me chair/recliner ($20!)
Image
Eventually I want a loveseat that will divide the room... Then the back wall, I want to get a medium size fridge and my air fryer that's already there.
Image
The open door on the right in the first picture is a storage area and washer and dryer hookups. There was no hurry, but in the sale I found this.
Image
So I now have a small washing machine ($25) hooked up... And it washes more than I expected!
All of the below and more was in the last load:
Image
The bathroom is long and narrow, hard to take pics but I attempted them.

No window coverings yet. Across from the washer is a closet that had no door. I put a curtain there and am thinking of eventually putting the same pattern on the windows in the main area.
Image
And again, the view from my porch, the reason I switched to this casita, even on a cloudy afternoon.
Image

And that's where it stands... Probably no more changes this winter other than maybe hanging some things in better places and organizing more.

Wow Beth! Looks great. Have fun making it yours. You did well at the sale. Will you have a bed?

No... Except maybe a love seat that becomes one or smaller futon. I figure I can always get an airbed to use if I have a guest visit.

Beth, I am not familiar with casitas. When you stay at your site do you live in your Rv and the casita? Does the casita serve as a fully furnished tiny house. Maybe it serves as a guest house. In any case it sounds like a fun change. Can you tell I love projects? :D

That is cute and will be fun to get fixed up! Lots of possibilities. Would also be a safe place in case of bad storms.

Shirl, the casitas here cannot be lived in. That would change the cities designation of this from an rv park and taxes, etc would sky rocket. So, yes, a guest could overnight in the casita, but my rv has to be my sleeping quarters.

A lovely expansion and with a view! I appreciate all the warm weather clothing hanging up to dry. I wish...... Sigh. I need to go down to the scoring center Monday or Tuesday and check out the spring schedule to work and thin real hard about staying and working through the winter or just returning in the spring. My bones are getting chilled.
Then I remember the morning last February, waking up in Benson and walking around and taking pictures of the snow!

I won't be here for Christmas. But there is room for one, that's for sure.

Beth, love the view! But I don't know exactly how this Casita thing works. Is it a lot with a tiny house (building?) that you own? Lease? I'm curious!
