It’s Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It’s Wednesday

Postby Othersharon » Wed Oct 23, 2019 9:35 am

Good morning all. After a rainy day yesterday the sun is out again. At least we didn’t have much wind with the rain. It’s still to wet to think about raking leaves so guess I’ll get some stuff done inside. Sue, appreciate the heads up on the weather! I went through some drawers yesterday and got rid of a bunch of t-shirts to donate. Much left to do, I’m sure. Looked in my closet and realize how many things I haven’t worn in forever so need to get rid of a bunch. Birdie, you’re emptying boxes and I just need to fill boxes! Barbie, I like your color choice. Neighbors bought the house next to them and yesterday the crew came in and pretty much took the whole thing down. Kinda sad but it’s been empty and uncared for for a number of years. They eventually want to put up a garage on the lot. It was amazing to me how fast they were able to tear it down. Well, not much else happening here. I have an appointment later today but tomorrow’s free so I might decide to take a day trip somewhere. Do it while the colors are still good! Judy, take it easy on your drive today. And Tina, thanks again for taking us with you on your adventure. Have a good day!

I am having a hard time getting up in the mornings. Even if I wake up early, I like to just hang out in bed for a few hours on my laptop, getting nothing productive done.

Am working this afternoon/evening. Then stop at WM before coming home. Tomorrow I am off and have a guy coming to check out my golf cart. Hopefully he can come up with a cheaper fix for me.

Can't wait for the cooler temps coming this weekend! Another hot one today pushing 100*! :o

Tina, glad you made it back home safe and sound with tons of memories of a fabulous trip!

Judy, hope you get to your destination today and can get to the doctor for more meds, etc.

Lyn, we want to hear from you!! Hope you decided to get to your doctor.

Sheila, hope you can get out of the cold north and headed to Q soon!

Beth, where are you heading next?

Enjoy your day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Beth, where are you heading next?

Friday I head to my casita. Will probably stay there through November.

I headed into Hatch, NM today because I love the deli at a store there. I've always gone at lunchtime and there's always a line. So I waited an extra hour and discovered lunchtime is THE time to go... They were running out of things! I still got several items, but the lunch special... $4.99 and I get 2, sometimes 3 meals from it , was gone.

No biggie, but I'll remember!

Not morning anymore, way past LOL A beautiful day here today after the fog cleared. Tomorrow we are supposed to be 76 and with us in peak color it was a beautiful day.

Had my visit to the eye doctor today, they dilated both my eyes because he wanted to do another scan. Was happy with the improvement so that was a plus. Got the shot in my R eye and next week my L eye then dont go back until end of November to do it all over again. I am just thankful for the positive progress.
Came home and tried to read the paper ha ha ha doesnt do well with dilated eyes so had some ice cream and took a nap. I normally dont nap so hope I can sleep tonight. At least I can see the computer now and will get back to the paper a bit later.

Made it to my son's driveway and an parked with the RV rear end hanging over his lawn. This gated community does not allow RVs in driveways, but he does not think anyone will mind. I have doctor appt tomorrow and RV service appt on Friday. Then will spend Saturday working and Sunday will take a drive to see their newly purchased holiday condo and put the boat away for the winter. Then home and I will drive motorhome to state park for a few days. Got a rental car reserved for a few days the next week while I catch up on dentist and another doctor appointment. Need to get my eyelids lifted as they are drooping pretty badly.

Drove 270 miles today. Hardest part was finding propane and getting a fill. I am using my son's 20 amp backyard hookup for TV and lights, but will have to use furnaces instead of electric heater. And got a ton of work to catch up on.

Anyway, I have driven 2400 miles in two weeks and need some rest and to stay in one place for a while.

Judy, I'm so glad to see your post and know you are safely there. I hope you continue to heal and the pain continues to lessen. And that you can get some well needed rest!

I'm off to take Ty for his final potty break and then play games or read in bed.

Was quite busy at work again today. More snowbirds arriving now, especially from Canada. Had some interesting conversations with clients. Tips were very good. Have the next 2 days off. Hopefully, I will feel motivated to get some stuff done around here

Another hot day today at 99*. Will start to cool off some now. Santa Anna winds coming in later tonight. Lots of red flag warnings for the high fire danger. With the high winds, heat, and extremely low humidity, fires can start anywhere at anytime and grow extremely fast. No worries around my area tho. Nothing much around here to burn.

Finally got to WM and stuck to my list of 4 things! I returned some things first which paid for the things I bought afterward.

Gonna make some toast and head to bed soon. Gotta get up early for the golf cart guy.
