Home in Tn. Again---Finally!!!

I got home yesterday and it is so nice to be back home. I love Tennessee!! I flew into Nashville and had a very good flight. Tobey was thrilled to see me-----I finally came back to him!! I have scratches on my arms to prove how glad he was to see me!! When he wiggles his little short tail, his whole body wiggles!!!

I'm leaving tomorrow for Illinois. I have a podiatrist appointment Friday, my all-school Alumni Banquet on Sat. night, the Cemetary Memorial dinner on Sunday and my 45th class reunion on Monday. I'll drive back to Tn. on Tues. I am planning to stay here for awhile.

Mary seems to be doing ok. She drove herself for bloodwork today. I talked to her a little while ago.

I'm heading to the campfire afterwhile to celebrate!! I am watching the Cubs/Cardinal game right now. Go Cubbies!!! LOL

Welcome back home to Tenessee, Fernie! Isn't that a great feeling - opening your door after an absence? Well, enjoy the rest of your upcoming trips...travel safe. If you cut a corner through NW TN, stop by and say "hey"...we have plenty of room for an overnight visit. And my little Abby LOVES company...she doesn't get much of it!

I had a non-stop weekend but had a great time. I saw my podiatrist and have new orthodics being made, took my ex-step son, his girlfriend and 3 year old to the Children's zoo, saw friends from Memphis who were in Decatur, saw nieces and their families from Michigan and Iowa at my younger brother's, went to the all-school alumni Banquet, the Cemetary Association Dinner on Sunday, and my 45th class reunion. In my spare time, I visited family in Tower Hill where I stayed. It is good to be home. I left this morning a little after 5 and got home a little after 1 pm. It is good to be home. It is great to have internet connections again. It was horrible in Tower Hill!!
