Mid October Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Mid October Wednesday

Mornin' ladies~~~

Pretty much up all night, since 2AM eastern time. Mild thunderstorm. I've always been a light sleeper, but since the hall damage to the last TT, I now worry about damage to my home again. Can't afford to buy another at this time and sure do not want to put down roots yet. Only God knows his plan for me, so time eeil tell.

Shirl, wasnt it you that found some old jewelry? Did you get it appraised? I've been enjoying Tina's adventures so much. She's planned a wonderful trip for herself. Glad to read your shingles are doing better Judy.

Looking forward to next week when I'll be staying at Kentucky Horse Park. The SP I'm at is nice, but the small 50 site CG needs some work.

That's it from me and northern Kentucky. Have a good day ladies.

Good Morning Cheryl,
It’a dark overcast day here. We need rain bad but hope it isn’t a damaging storm. I did have the ring appraised, it’s 14 carat gold plated with a cubic zirconia. A very pretty setting. :D Safe travels

Good morning. We are expecting rain off and on for the next 5 days. Happy it will be raining. Got the gutters mounted on my storage shed so now it wont drown any plants I plant below it. I helped put them up yesterday and sure glad I didnt tackle it myself it was definitely a 2-man job. Our resident manager in our community put them up for me so the least I could do was help. He charges very little to help the residents of this community. He was a contractor and still has his license so he is pretty darn handy.

Playing Mexican train today with one of my newer neighbors so that will be fun.

Guess I will have to go to town tomorrow for a few groceries, the cupboard is getting depleted. Getting the Motorhome winterized the end of the month so will concentrate on my inside projects this winter.

Liking Tina's travels, she is sure seeing quite a bit. Sheila hope your fridge is an easy fix. Cant be without a fridge.

Yesterday at work I only did 4 haircuts. Today I did 10 so was a better day.

There is a dump fire that started south of me a few days ago and the authorities put out a warning about unhealthy air from the smoke blowing up from the fire. It was really stinky!

It was hot again today, near 100*. Same for tomorrow before cooling off some again. Nights are staying cool tho, in the 60's.

Tomorrow they are shutting off the electricity throughout the park again from 7 to 3. Last week when they did that, it was in the low 80's so wasn't much of an issue but will be much warmer tomorrow so will keep it as cool as possible in here all night and then close it up early to keep it cool as long as possible. More worried about Lola than me with the heat.

The park is having a Halloween party on the 29th. They shut down one street and have contests, food, games, imbibing, etc. I get off work at 2 that day so will be able to attend. Should be fun!

***Oh, and the Patsy & Loretta movie will be airing on Saturday, the 19th at 8pm (7 central) on Hallmark channel for those who are interested.

Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

wish I could report back that I've done lots... can't say I have did get sheets washed and the bed made I place family pictures over my slide out (they are just hanging out) took them down today I have a little "bin" that I put them in have three total one for the pictures one for the mugs and one for knick knaks so I need to did them out they are under the desk with a summers worth of read books in front of them... a job for Friday...tomorrow will go to Mom's hoping the weather will allow a drive up to the park... if not oh well my niece can come visit her grandma and get her afghan ..
talked with my nephew about my truck he thinks and I think I agree with him that it was too cold even though it didn't feel that way I hadn't started it for several days so it's plugged in which I hadn't done and will see when I have time to see if it will start hope he is right and that the batteries will recover... he thinks he has put new batteries in it I don't remember I ought to see if I can find old invoices but I also know it's on file at the shop and just need to call and see....
as to the frig I think the least costly is going to treat it as a cooler keep ice in it and smaller amounts of perishable foods till I get to Q where there are more RV mobile tecks available and hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg.... If I could figure out how I could do it (because of boondocking so many months) I would put in a residential frig. but I can't wrap my head around how to do it... we will just hope it's fixable or might have to remain a cooler for awhile longer... the genny wiped out what I would have had...
I have so enjoyed Tina's trip
